Baby shoe sizing--does my child have freakishly small feet?

This is kind of a silly question, but I have been curious for a while--what is UP with baby shoe sizing? DD is almost 8 months and still fits in the 0-6 month Robeez with room to spare. (She's in the 90th percentile for everything else) I've been shocked at how huge the 6-12 month size shoes seem--there's no way she could wear them!

Anyone else ever wonder about this?

My twin girls are 7 months and still don't fit in the smallest shoes I can find! I think it's a little of both, they have small feet AND baby shoes are just big!

My dd, (now 15 months) can still fit in the 6-12 month robeez.  The 12-18 are pretty large on her.  She is very long, but lower on the scale for weight.

My other DD wore 12-18 month shoes at 8 months, so feet vary so much.

It is pretty crazy

Ha ha, I about fell over when at five months I realized Target's "newborn" shoes would be big on her.

I think shoe sizes are not very well regulated--my baby is 8 mths and just outgrew a pair of 24 mth size slippers!

Don't worry, my dd1 had freakishly HUGE feet.  My friends told me she flintstone feet... Poor kid, she's growing into them now.

DD2 had tiny, fat little feet as a baby. She then went on to go through 4 shoe sizes in one year when she hit 2, and now still at 5 she has larger feet. My 4 month is wearing the 6-12 month shoes though...
