How do I handle this???

I don't know where this belongs, but I do know that this is classic toddler behavior.

My daughter (18 mths) has recently become very frustrated and angry with me a lot. An example would be when I tell her "Not right now," or any number of other things she doesn't like. Yesterday I was in a pharmacy waiting for a rx to be filled and she was upset that she couldn't leave my side. e walked around and around the store but continually she wanted to run away and every time I requested that she stay holding my hand she threw herself on the ground and started stomping and screaming. It was horrible.

What do I do? These cries are happening often. I feel like she is constantly upset with me, and that I have to constantly direct her attention elsewhere. She is so strong willed!

Any advice appreciated.

I am in the same thing with DS (2y2m). It is so hard to be patient. The other day we had to leave the park and he threw a tantrum/crying/not wanting to leave the entire way home, about 2 or 3 blocks. It was so hard to be patient. Just try your best.
