My dd has been asking for a penpal lately so I thought I'd see if there's anybody on here with a dd her age?

I have a 9 yr old DS :)  We also live on Okinawa right now (we are military so it's a US mailing address)  I've been trying to work on writing with my DS so if she's a good writer it may help him develop some skills :)

Yay! That would be awesome!
Do you mean handwriting? Or writing? She has beautiful handwriting, and she is also a huge reader and writer.

I know its not a 'true' penpal but have you checked out  postcrossing.com  My son LOVES it and gets/send cards all over the world!

Just a thought.

Both ;)  But more with actually writing...putting his ideas on paper and elaborating on them!  If he has an example to look at it may help I think.  I'm always looking for different ways to help him!

Hi,

I have a 7 y/o daughter who would also love a penpal. She's into all sorts of stuff and loves to send and receive letters. Let me know if you are interested!

Thanks
