Hello Ladies.

 

So, ive been trying to decide on a good form of birth control for a long time now. I have 2 kids and Im sure that 'im done'.  I was considering going back on the Depo- but after much research, i really dont think its a good idea.

 

Though NFP and the pull out method have been working fine for us for 3 years now, I feel like I need more security, considering both my husband and myself are highly fertile and I feel as if im going to get pregnant if he even LOOKS as me the wrong way. lol.gif

 

 

 

For the Mamas out there who have had tubal ligation, I have a few questions for you.

 

1)  How was your healing process? Was it painful? Did you have any complications?

 

2) Do you regret having your tubes tied? Do you wish you would have waited or skipped it all together?

 

3) How did you feel after you was fully healed? Did you expeirence any 'menopause' like symptoms? Did it change your sex drive- if so, for better or worse?  Sorry if this is a silly question, but do you still have periods after the procedure- if so, are they worse, better or the same?

 

I am a bit nervous about having this done, but i do think it would be the best option for me considering the health issues I have ( MVP, High BP, High rish for stroke and jaundice ). So, i was hoping I could get some more personal information from you guys.

 

Also, if you think there is anything that I would like to know about the procedure that you do not see listed about, please feel free to share! I could use all of the info I can get!
