FIRST RESPONSE® Unmistakable Yes/No Digital Ovulation Test

Okay, so this month I have decided to use the above ovulation test. I started the fifth day of my af like it states. This morning with FMU it said "yes". My hubby had to go into work so I decided i will keep testing throughout the day.(why not i am not supposed to use them after 30 days anyway). First off, when I went to do it the second time this evening the digital part itself wouldn't work. So I peed and read the stick part anyway. Nothing came up. Is this because the test has already gotten a "yes" would I still be ovulating? I am so confused to why my test worked this morning and not this evening. Usually I only test once a day. will it only work once a day? Please help me understand this crazy thing!!!!!

The first picture was this morning and the second one was about 10 minutes ago.

Never mind and this is stupid... if you get a yes you can't use it anymore.... haha what a waste of money!

This is what the site said

6. Eject the Test Stick

  • After you have read the result, press the pink Ejection Buttons on the Digital reader to remove the Test Stick.
  • Dispose of the Test Stick with your normal household waste.
  • Do not reuse/reinsert a used Test Stick.
  • If your result was “NO-,” store the Digital Reader in the storage compartment in the carton and test again tomorrow at the same time.
  • If your answer was “YES+,” there is no need for further testing during this cycle. The Digital Reader will shut itself off permanently. Dispose of the Digital Reader with your normal household waste.

I have never used the digital ones, personally I like to see the LH building before my surge and the digital are so expensive...however from what I read online with these the tests will no longer work once you get "yes+", so basicallly the rest in pack are a total waste.

As well you mention using FMU...normally with OPK it is recommended to not use FMU, for two reasons: one, most women surge later in the day and by testing with FMU you may miss your surge when it actually happens later in day or two if you get a positive it may be from a surge that started the previous day and you are just catching the tail end, two for some women FMU can be very concentrated and give less than accurate results.

Have you had any other fertile signs? I would BD as if that were + and keep an eye on how things progress in case it wasn't accurate. Are you able to get some dollar store tests to keep testing for a few days?

This type & brand SUCK.

I never did get a yes & started only getting the "?" on day 5.   What a crock, especially for the money!
