Ovulation kit anomaly- help please.

So I use an ovulation kit which I test from day 8th through ovulation (which is anywhere from day 15th through day 20th even for me...hence the kit)....

For the past 6 months it has been very predictable. 4-5 days before ovulation I get faint lines and then bam - a strong positive.

This month I got 3 faint pink lines and today - day 11th of my cycle ... the line just vanished! I didn't even get a faint line

What does that mean?

Bump.... no one?

Seriously? Is this the first time it has happened to any one?

Bad test strip?? Missed surge?

Probably means nothing. I would just keep testing. LH levels can vary day to day as can your urine concentration, one will not always see a day to day progression. It will likely get darker over next few days. Best of luck!

I just bought an ovulation kit for my next cycle, hopefully they are truly 99% accurate.

That has happened to me before. I have no idea why because I was used to getting gradual lines as well. But anywho.....not sure what it means but I know my line disappeared, drove me nuts, but I kept testing and still got a + the day I would expect to get one. Don't read too much into it. Just continue testing and look for the line the day it should come. More than likely it will be there. Sometimes our hormones decide it will be fun to watch us squirm for a few days.
