Just curious if anyone else blogs regularly. I'm trying to do so more often now that the family wants to know what's going on with us, you can read it at http://home.kellbot.com
It's a little time consuming, but I find it cathartic. :)
great blog! i like your theme. i do (blog), kind of. i've been writing at http://persephassa.com/ since 1998 (more like a writer's notebook) and on livejournal (http://kore.livejournal.com/ -- mostly ramblings about nothing and outfit photos) since 2000.
i've gotten kind of addicted to mom-blogs since we found out we're pregnant! do you have any favorites?
some of mine:
I started one when my little guy was born - thekidhasarrived.tumblr.com - with the idea that I could save myself the hassle of emailing family/far-flung friends with updates. I assumed it would be purely about the baby, but over time it's turned out to be a little more for me. It's still mostly about him, but it's turned out to be a good place for me to vent about various things too. I always like to add new blogs to my reader, so I look forward to reading more about you both!
Cookie - I just realized you're (relatively) local to me! I'm in Jersey City but I spend a fair amount of time in Gowanus. Hopefully my kid won't come out a mutant as a result.
I read a couple mom blogs, but I had to cut way back. There were too many bloggers who I just wanted to shake some perspective into and scream "get a grip." If snacking on some refined sugar at a friend's house is the worst thing to happen to your kid this week, you are truly blessed so STFU.
The one I do read regularly is http://offbeatmama.com , it's sometimes kinda out there but usually pretty relaxed.
I added you two to my reader. :)
I have my Livejournal at http://maryam.livejournal.com (friends-only, but if you add me I add back!) It's not updated too regularly nowadays, but I'm trying to be better about that. (persephasse - I've had mine since 2001! awesome)
We're working on a Tumblr right now for baby- and family-related stuff, I'll post a link here when it's done :)
