Back after a long absence

Hi everyone - I was pleased to discover that the Mothering policy of never deleting accounts is still in effect. ;) I used to post here a lot when my kids were very little but as they got older I stopped. I feel like I could use a gentle influence in raising my challenging 6 y.o. DD so now I'm back. I look forward to meeting you all and maybe seeing some old familiar names. :)

I'm just back too - I think the last time I posted was 2004!  Welcome to you and me both.  :)  It's funny to look back at my old posts when my now 8 and 11 year olds were infant and toddler.
