DS4 got a bunch of red spots on his torso with a couple on his face and limbs yesterday morning. I thought chicken pox at first as he also has mild flu like symptoms but as no blisters appeared I was pretty sure it wasn't. They seemed to be fading last night but this morning they were very red and itchy. I took him to the walk in clinic and doc said she thinks its chicken pox. I'm still not convinced though. As far as I can tell he still has only the original spots and none of them have blistered although some of them have a tiny head. I'm thinking it might be some random virus and the doc just heard 'not vaccinated' and assumed the pox. Has anyone heard of a virus that has a chicken pox like rash that doesn't blister? I guess either way I'll know by tomorrow but I'd really like to know NOW so I can arrange a pox party!
