Morning Sickness Remedies - Page 3

Great to hear Sallyrae! I tried to make an appointment the other day, but the acupuncturist is out of town, so I still have to wait. I really wish I had got on it sooner, but with the holidays and everything it was all just too overwhelming. can't wait to go though!

I picked up Ginger People Ginger Chews candy in Spicy Apple flavor. Sounded kind of gross, but the other options were plain ginger, peanut and Hot Coffee (blah to me!). They went over way better than I thought. They have a peculiar taffy texture and a surprising warm spice, which again, sounds gross to me. But...they work pretty well in stalling the horrid nausea between meals when nothing sounds good.

I've noticed a number of people talking about taking the sea bands off to sleep. Is there any reason you have to? I actually haven't removed mine since Saturday except for showering.  Will this cause a problem if I keep it up?

My sister gave me a bag of the ginger chews and if I eat a half of one, I'm fine, if I eat a whole one, it grosses me out.

Rebecca, I think the reason for taking them off is to reset your system(?).  I guess it makes them more effective, but I don't think it would hurt you.  And there is nothing in the directions about taking them off or keeping them on.

Thanks Veritas.  I think I'll try taking them off and see how it goes.
