Anyone heard from LadyJennifer?

Hi. I was a lurker in the Aug/Sept DDC.

I noticed that Lady Jennifer's last post about Lydia was never updated.

Has anyone heard if they are ok?

She lives in the same area as me and I think she posted in this other local forum I read, saying Lydia was born at home in the water on 9/4.  I'm not 100% sure it's her, but baby's name was Lydia and mom's name was Jenny so it seems likely smile.gif

Lady Jennifer was my due date buddy. Maybe I can send her a message to see how she's doing. She was so sweet - - she texted me to seeing how I was doing when I didn't post on the board for a while (because of PPD). I'll send her a message.

I was concerned because Lydia had been in the hospital.

I was just hoping that Lydia recovered well and the LadyJ was ok too.

Sorry, I didn't know that. I feel regretful that I didn't follow-up with her; I was so out of it with the PPD that I barely reached out to anyone, not even family...

Nothing to be sorry about Roxy! How is the PPD?  I think I might have had it...but there are so many other factors that I can't be sure.  How are you feeling now?

...LadyJ doesn't even know me.  Months ago I noticed that Lydia had been sick.  I tried to PM Lady J but she doesn't seem to be around anymore. Anyways, months later I was still thinking of them, so I thought I should check and see if anyone knew.

Yeah, I've been wondering about Riley and Lalya (something like that...), too.

Hi Kirsten. I PM'd Lady Jennifer but haven't heard back. Last night, after reading all of this, I felt so emotional. I hope all is well with Lady Jennifer, her family, as well as some of the others who used to post here but haven't lately.

Regarding the PPD, if you had it you would probably know because it's rather unbearable, or at least it was for me. Perhaps what you had was more of the "baby blues" which is quite common and not as intense as PPD? But I can't say for sure. If you're interested, I have lots on literature on PPD, and can send it to you.

As for me, I'm feeling soooooo much better than I did when the PPD was full swing. Back then it was hard to do the simplest things, everything felt overwhelming...I basically disappeared. It's hard to explain, but for example - I couldn't bring myself to come here and post anything. I feel so fortunate that I am better now, but I have days when I slip a bit...but it's never nearly as intense as it was back then.

She's in a natural birth group I'm in on another board. I went and searched and while I couldn't find an update on how things turned out with Lydia other than they had gotten out of the hospital- she has posted about her recently and it sounds like things turned out okay.

Mare - I hope Riley is ok too. Anyone heard?

Roxy - do you have PPD links to share?  I hope I didn't worry you asking about Lady J.  It looks like Stormy has seen an update & all is well!

Stormy - Thanks so much for letting us know! I'm glad they are okay.

Have a great weekend full of happiness & JOY!

Hi KirstenO - - Postpartum Support International is a good place to start: http://www.postpartum.net/ I will also PM you with an attachment of support materials that were emailed to me from a local postpartum depression help center.

Thanks for wondering... like Tamera said were doing great! I haven't been on here in months. I've been pretty busy so I've just been checking in on facebook every once in a while, but I randomly decided to log on today to see if there were any good threads. I'll try to log on more often. I miss mothering!
