Hi Kirsten. I PM'd Lady Jennifer but haven't heard back. Last night, after reading all of this, I felt so emotional. I hope all is well with Lady Jennifer, her family, as well as some of the others who used to post here but haven't lately.
Regarding the PPD, if you had it you would probably know because it's rather unbearable, or at least it was for me. Perhaps what you had was more of the "baby blues" which is quite common and not as intense as PPD? But I can't say for sure. If you're interested, I have lots on literature on PPD, and can send it to you.
As for me, I'm feeling soooooo much better than I did when the PPD was full swing. Back then it was hard to do the simplest things, everything felt overwhelming...I basically disappeared. It's hard to explain, but for example - I couldn't bring myself to come here and post anything. I feel so fortunate that I am better now, but I have days when I slip a bit...but it's never nearly as intense as it was back then.
