How to lengthen Luteal Phase?

Thread Starter

I've heard of Vitex, Progesterone cream, and B6.

...but how much?

...just B6 or a B-complex?

...What brands/types (liquid or pill?) and from where do you recommend getting it?

...anything special that I would need to know about progesterone creams?

Any other things to try that I haven't heard of?

Any good resources or websites where I can read more about it?

Thanks!  :)

[this question is for my cousin, who's LP is 9 days]

i had issues with spotting and short lp this past year. i used both vitex and bcomplex. i tend to think it was the bcomplex that made the difference though... i took it in pill form (actually i still take it along with prenatals). when i was having troubled cycles i took 100mg a day, now i take 50 mg a day. i just use GNC brand. i now have spotting down to two days prior to AF which gives me a 12 day spot-free lp.

as far as the vitex, i took it as a part of fertilityblend (also found at GNC). the recommended dosage is on the bottle.

i hope this helps. there are probably a million different suggestions/opinions on what to do... hope you find an answer that works for your cousin!
