Excited for #2

Thread Starter

I recently was convinced I was pregnant only to find out I was wrong. I was pretty disappointed. My Dh and I have a 23month old ds and I'm so eager to give him a sibling! So we have decided to stop using any protection and just let it happen naturally. I'm not charting or keeping track of anything, but I obviously want a healthy pregnancy/child. I will start taking a prenatal vitamin and trying to eat extra healthy, but is there anything else I should be doing? My first son was a surprise and I was 19, living at home, and had no idea what I was doing. I've matured quite a bit in the last 2 years and I want to do go above and beyond to do my best for my children. I wish I had known about this website then! But as they say, "when you know better, you do better". Any advice? Thanks ladies joy.gif

Taking a prenatal and eating healthy are the most important for sure.  Have DH take a multi-vitamin too and encourage him to eat healthy.  You also may want to chart your cycles just to see how regular your cycles are, making sure your luteal phase is long enough, etc.

I hope you are able to conceive soon with your second baby!
