Wow, I haven't posted (or tossed) in forever. Not much to add.  Managed to clean out some pantry shelves on Friday and found 7 expired food items to toss.  Slowly but surely.  I also re-consigned some clothing that hadn't yet sold at the consignment store for another month.  So far I've made $38 on what they've sold but I won't add it to my total until my consignment period is up on June 10, then I'll add the full total.

Wow! I haven't been here in a long time. I am so impressed by everyone's decluttering!  Well my friend had a garage sale last Saturday and I gave her 2 big tubs of stuff to sell. Whatever didn't sell she donated. The sad thing is that it was a neighborhood-wide garage sale, and my kids took their pocket money around the block and bought a bunch of toys! Aaaaargh! But I'm going to give myself credit for 50 things gone anyway. I didn't count, but I think it was about 50.

Haven't posted in a while. Up to 1125 items. I got rid of some "pre-clutter" today. I got my new prescription sunglasses and they came in a hard-sided case, but I don't use the two cases I already have (I gave one to the baby as a toy today), and when I mentioned that she asked if I wanted the case and otherwise she'd just donate it, so I opted to let her donate it. She gave me a free! soft-sided case, which was what I really wanted. Also I got rid of my old pair of glasses--two pairs ago--I never even use my backup glasses, I for sure don't need 2 pairs of backup glasses!

I feel like I am spinning my wheels though. Most of what I'm clearing out is clutter that's accumulated since the first of the year... I'm not making progress on old clutter, having already cleared out the low-hanging fruit. And the basement is fuller than ever before. Grrr.
