Hi, y'all!  Love the idea of getting rid of over 2000 things in a year - that's huge!  Living in an apartment with 3 other people and a dog, I need to stay on top of the sheer stuff coming in, or it'll be on top of me! duck.gif

I've spent months searching yard sales, thrift stores, and flea markets for colorful game pieces to decorate this year's Christmas tree.  Please, if you have a partial Candyland game you'd like to sell, drop me a line! =)

Ooh, the thought of coming into this challenge over halfway through the year makes me want clean out a closet!  Well, almost.

So we are in contract on a house and will most likely move by the end of September! I haven't been doing much lately--a thing here and a thing there--but now I need to get back in the swing of things. The new place is bigger, and we're only moving across town, but it's dumb to move crap we don't use. This will be a good time to get rid of some stuff.

Got rid of today:

coffee maker

3 cereal storage bins

upside down tomato planter we never used

random trash x8

crappy soap dispenser (which was actually bought to replace another crappy one... hopefully its replacement will be better quality)

1 Car!! Not counting what we've gotten for it towards the total though, as it wasn't paid for in full.

Also, checked in with one consigment place and I made $96 and change and will be getting a cheque in Sept.

I can't wait for my baby to be born because then I get to declutter my whole maternity wardrobe and if the baby is a boy, a huge tub of girl's clothes! I'm sure we'll find many things don't fit the baby as well. Plus the newborn stuff only has be to here about 1 month. I just can't wait to have less stuff here :)

my list so I remember what I can declutter:

- extra towels that are only here for the birth

- all maternity clothes

- birth kit stuff

- yoga/birth ball

- possibly lots of girl clothes if it's a boy

- newborn clothes once they don't fit
