late 40's ageing hippie leftie athiest living in Papua New Guinea here. Husbang and I have just fostered (with the view to adoption) a 4 y/o orphan girl we call CupCake. Looking for all sort of information about inter-racial adoption and culturally sensitive parenting information.

I am currently confused by hair food, Rasta Mouse and why CupCake seems to prefer her bread straight from the freezer.

She has multiple medical and social issues, so if anyone's ever adopted a child with Kwashiorkor's Disease, I'd LOVE to hear from you.
