anyone adopted/fostered from PNG? We're in Lae and have just adopted a 4 y/o orphan from Hagen.

 

would love to connect with anyone else with similar experiences.

I've never heard of anyone (online or in my IRL groups) who adopted from there. It's not one of the ones that comes up in discussions. I don't follow international adoption groups very much, though.

Thanks for the replies! I guess the issues we face are pretty muc the same, no matter where you adopt from! At the moment, I'm struggling with decisions about her language. Off to find some infor about that! **Damn, seem to be having problems posting.. need to practice to get the hang of this thing!
