I did it this weekend. Cut up the strips, lay down a sheet on a comfortable seat, had a towel handy, also a dish of warm water (you don't need like a mop bucket full, but you need more than a cereal bowl full). Slather the belly is some coconut oil (or a lube of your choosing to make it easy to pull off), and with assistance start moistening the strip and layering away. Mine hardened as we went and I was able to remove it about 30 minutes after we started.
Yeah, I'm stuck on the "what would I do with it after" question. Though I think DD would have a ball covering me with plaster and then painting it!
Did you do your belly, or your belly and your boobs, or your belly and your hips? Im undecided. I would really like to paint it pretty and make it a wall hanging, especially since Im not sure if this one will be my last. I really like this one:
but my boobs arent that perky and Im wondering if I should wear a bra while I do it.
with my first we did not do one but i am soooooooo glad to have one with my second. it's just chillin in the closet but it's been fun to pull out and hold up to my belly before i was preggo and remind my girl that's what i looked like when she was inside me. i think it's neat to imagine my own daughters pregnant one day and holding my belly cast of me being preggo with them up next to their bellies. hoping to do one with this pregnancy but no plans for it.
we'll do a henna design at my mother's blessing.

I am doing one on Sunday! Which reminds me...need to buy plaster strips tomorrow. I am also getting belly photos done earlier that day. It is a celebrate the belly day for me. I plan on doing the one shoulder, boobs and belly. I don't know what I will do with it after as I am not that artistic. I may have it painted in the future by someone else.
