I have 3 daughters, all of whom have dealt with alleriges.
DD1 couldn't tolerate dairy for her first 10months., was on soy formula.
DD2 was FTT, on Elecare, intolerant to gluten, soy, pineapple, dairy and a variety of other foods. She outgrew everything by 15 months.
DD3 I thought we were in the clear. I bf'd for 9 months, then she went to dairy formula, no issues. Switched her gradually to whole milk at a year, her poops increased in frequency and burn her bum severely. She screams and almost cant catch her breath it hurts so bad. We have the same issue with soy milk. She has always been tiny except at birth. Now she is 15m and 20lbs soaking wet. She has gained 8oz in 3 months. She loves to eat, I feel like she is always hungry so we cut the dairy and soy and have her on rice milk. Everything was gravy, except now she is having middle of the night blow outs, and poops during the day with mucus. I'm not sure if there is blood? She gets childrens probiotics once a day. I feel like we might be heading toward a Ped GI referral? Or am I just reading too much into this and just deal?
