Happy New Year, friends!

Please let me know if your information needs to be updated or if you're new and would like to be added to the front page. I may not be as on top of things as RosieL was, but I'll certainly try!

Thanks, Caly! Can you please remove "Alaric" after my name? That's not DD's name, but I've decided not to post her name on the internet anyway. Thanks! smile.gif

I second the request for more belly pics! love.gif

Tear: I'm pretty sure Alaric is Meander's DS. Thanks for pointing that out!

Happy New Year ladies!

Thanks for posting the new thread, Calycanth! And thanks to Rosie for having been a great threadkeeper!

I'll have more info to update my blurb when my u/s occurs on Thursday! Cross fingers for me and positive thoughts that we'll see a healthy babe!!

I will post a progression picture of my non-bump on or after Tuesday, since that's when I'm at 8w, but I would love to see the bumps of other bajingo juice grads!

Thanks for the new thread Caly! I'm pooped after a week of major nesting. The baby's room is done so I decided painting and refinishing the floors would be a good idea. Turns out that's not the brightest idea, but the house is all set for any post-baby guests.

Here's my bump at 8 months!

Caly, I was on the other thread but don't have a blurb.  I might have forgotten to add one to this particular thread.  So, here's the info: 31, due with first sometime around August 5 after four months of trying and some really wonky cycles (including misleading progesterone tests).

Like andaluza, I'll be able to update more after my first U/S on Thursday!  Very excited.  Andaluza, what time is your u/s?  I have both the u/s and then an appt with the OB that day, so it'll be a full day of poking and prodding. According to my estimates, I'll be at almost 10 weeks by then.  I can't wait, which means no work will get done this week.  orngbiggrin.gif

Ramzubo, what a great pic!  And I love the whale theme.  How sweet.  I think we're going with a neutral theme too, since we don't want to find out the sex.  Light green, probably.

SO cute ramzubo!  I love the whale stuff too.   Is that bag hanging from the crib a wet bag? Where did you get it?  I love the pattern.

Hello everyone!  For a New Year's gift, DH and I discovered that we are pregnant with a little peanut!  There is debate between the two of us whether it's going to be a boy or a girl, but right how DB is called "Hamish the Hover-Babe."  We got the name from an exceptionally cute bird that ran around our neighborhood for a while and his body didn't move, so it looked like he was hovering along.  So there you go.

It's an interesting time.  I can say with confidence that I have never felt this way before.

Congrats and Happy New Year mamas to be!

Happy New Years everyone!!

Congrats and welcome calpurnia7!

Ram, great picture and I love the nursery too!

Gorgeous, Ramzubo! It must feel great to have everything prepared.  You are so close!!!

Wonderful to see you over here, Calpurnia7. I have to admit, I was worried when you disappeared from the bajingo thread but I'm thrilled that you are here! joy.gif

I am feeling stressed out about my u/s. It can't be Thursday fast enough!! But I also have a ton of work that I want to accomplish this week, so I hope that is able to distract me and not stress me out further. I just want to call the doc and move up the date.

Ram, you look gorgeous! And what a sweet nursery theme! Where did you get your crib? I really like the simplicity of it.

Congrats, Calpurnia! Are you ready to be added to the list? What would you like your blurb to say?

Andaluza, I feel like 75% of the stress we experience during pregnancy comes from having to wait for things like ultrasounds and blood work. I hope the next few days pass quickly for you! You too, LilyTiger.

CountryGirl, I can't remember if I responded to your post or not (pregnancy brain!), but congrats on hearing the heartbeat! I'm so glad things are going well for you!

LS, how are your doula studies going?

Ack, my boobs are growing! I started out at 36DD and I think I've gained about a cup size (enough that the bras I have are getting uncomfortable and looking a little pornographic). Does anyone have any ideas about keeping bra expenditures reasonable during pregnancy? At my size, support is truly of the essence, and it's really hard to find a bra that's supportive, comfortable, and affordable. I'm wary of investing in new ones before I know just how big the girls are going to get, but I don't think I'm going to be able to wear what I've got much longer. I'd love to get something that doesn't have an underwire, but again, at my size, it's hard to pull that off. Anyone know of any truly supportive wireless bras? Help!

Yes, please add me!  My blurb can say "31, BFP after 3 months with love and luck"

On the bra issue - have you shopped at Ross and TJ Maxx?  Their bras are usually about 50% off.  Three or four bras should be enough to get you by, and they do sell larger sizes at both.  I do not have that problem yet, but I'm so achy right now I have to sleep in a sports bra.

It's good to see you as well!  DH and I were so stressed by the holidays, we decided to just take a break from TTC.  What a Zen thing, as Yoda said, "Try not. Do!"

Just noticed your due date 8/14 - we are only about three weeks apart!

Ugh, I've hit another valley with my mood. It was fine when I was just mopey but my self esteem is eroding and I need to talk to someone about treating depression asap. I'm struggling with body image, can't see myself posting any "bump" pictures. Fat women carry their pregnancies so differently, I thought I was prepared for that but I'm not. I'm having trouble finding plus size pregnancy peers and thinking of starting a group or thread here. Both of our laptops are busted right now and that's our only access to netflix /tv). And I'm still on break all week) Got to call for first Ob appointment too. A little scared there too. If you ask me to end on a positive note: Trader Joes cheetos.

Congratulations Calpurnia!

Caly, I already have the same bra issue. Asked elsewhere, will report back. Also have had to sleep in a sports bra. Hoping tenderness eases up after I'm done with the progesterone.

Love to all.
