I do have a tattoo on my lower back, but it's a good one.  Lol.  I have a few, I just hate hate hate one of them.  I don't know WHAT I was thinking.

Im sorry, I *have* to know!  Haha.  My best friend used to be an addict- she got the word "Aloha" tattooed on her lower back (yes, as in Hello and Goodbye, implying...well, the obvious) with two pink flowers and a bunch of pot leafs.  She now holds a government job, has been clean a long while, and has 2 children to explain it to someday.

I got a drunken tattoo once, but I was able to easily cover it up with my daughters name and some colorful stars.

LOL I need one my "tramp stamp" filled in with something else besides NA(for Narcotics Anonymous) because I don't attend meetings anymore and it was an impulse tattoo. But my other tattoo, behind my ear is fine. And I've thought long and hard about getting my tattoo for my kids.

Ha! I originally wrote tramp stamp, then edited it in case someone had one and really liked it. Lol.

My dh has a few questionable tattoos. He has the ubiquitous, poorly executed zodiac sign (Leo, with a huge lion that looks like a deformed kitten). He also has two homemade tattoos from his thuggy high school days. My favorite has two dice and says, "High Rollin". Yep. But, Ash, I think your friend's takes the cake.

Joanie, I'm sorry you're having a crap day/postpartum time. If you were closer you could come sit at my messy house while children run around shrieking. It's a good time. And if you're really brave my six year old would be happy to babysit.

My tats don't bother me, thankfully. one is way stretched out from pregnancies but I don't show off my belly anyway.

So I had my last appt with my midwives yesterday (at 7 weeks- we got off schedule because of the holidays).  Dylan is 24 inches, 13.5 lbs!  He's crazy big, but his older brother was bigger (yet started out over a pound smaller).  I had a pap done, and everything down there looked normal.  I went to the chiro too- so amazing.  She did some serious work on my neck.  Omg, I feel so great now.  She also adjusted my pubic bone- the left side was overlapping the right side and WOW the adjustment was not comfortable but it feels much better now.

I am really sad to not be in my midwife's care anymore.  greensad.gif  sad trombone.

I feel for you ladies with DH's out of town.  I never let my DH leave, and luckily he hasn't ever had to (yet).  I don't know what I'd do!

I had my last midwife appointment this week too.  I decided to wait until Sept to get my pap, just so that I could see them again.  :)  It was their suggestion, because they like seeing me so much.  I really love them, they're great!  They were already planning my next baby for me, ha ha.  Coralie weighed 11lbs9oz on Monday, so she's probably close to 12lbs now.  Pretty good for a petite little girl!

My DH hasn't had to travel much in the past couple of years and then he gets called to travel twice this month!  We just trudge through each day and get some how we manage.  I suspect that I'll be totally exhausted by the end of this 6 days though!

Aww my baby is so tiny!  She still only weighs 9 pounds...

So baby has her first cold :(  It was inevitable with two older kids in school, but I just feel so bad for her.  Her eyes are all red and she is snotty, which keeps causing her to gag and throw up.  Any tips to keep the vomit and diarrhea away?  It realy seems to be messing with her stomach.

Harlan had his 2 month check up on Tuesday and is 11lbs 5oz 25". The dr said he's just tall and lean.

I'm so ready for the month to be over, DH is hardly home because of a turnaround so he's working 7days a week 6am-6:30pm.
Tonight they have him working til 10:30.. times like this make me wish we didn't move far from his work. But at least where we live
now we have a chance to buy a decent sized house with a big yard for cheap.

Jasper is two months old today and I still haven't had my postpartum check-up. Insurance crap. It took a long time for them to approve the IUD. Then it had to be ordered. Then there were no appointments available. Whatever, I'm fine anyway! What's really irritating me is that the insurance is taking so long to pay for Jasper's care from his first month. They waited until they had his birth certificate and he was officially added, but then they messed up the dates. So they are just now starting to go back and pay. He had a ton of doctor visits in the first two weeks. The last time I took him in, we had to pay $200 out of pocket because the insurance wasn't paying! If he got sick and I needed to take him right now, I'd probably have to pay everything we owe just to be seen. I mean, I understand; they can't work for free. But seriously, the insurance needs to get on it!! Grr!

Vent over.

My turkey day baby was 10 lb 3 oz at my 2 month checkup. I'm glad I'm not the only one whose baby is smaller than the average in our DDC! I didn't get a length measurement but I bet we could knock out the competition in that arena.

Jack was 14 lb 1 oz on Tuesday, at not quite 7 weeks old. He's a fat little guy!

And thanks for all the insurance talk....I just realized we have 11 days to get Jack added to our policy!

Shay was 15 pounds at 7 weeks. Now he is 10 weeks, 15 pounds 11 ounces and 25 inches. The kid is a monster, but at least his is slowing down.

We woke up to snow finally.

Jamiee, you said someplace that you are a couple of hours from Indianapolis?  I think we are 4 hours from there. I didn't realize you were so close.

Enoch is 12 lb 8 oz and 24 inches long at 6 weeks. And I will miss my midwife's visits too!!

Yes, we are about 2 hours from Indy, but I'm guessing we're in opposite directions?  We're in Urbana, IL and you're in Ohio?  We passed through Columbus and Dayton on our way to Illinois.  Are you ever in Indy?  We could meet up at the museum!  But 4 hours is quite the trip...

Jamiee, yeah, we're in way opposite directions but 4 hours isn't bad for us. S has been on 4 4 hour trips and a 16 hour trip already. He's a great traveler. Shoot, he was born in the car.

Someday we should get together. Lol. I don't know when, we're going to DC in a couple of weeks (7hours, but we got way cheap bus tickets). We will be in Illinois in June.
