Omg you guys, I got a positive this morning...
I'm at work struggling even trying to post text, so I'll have to upload a picture later. It was a dollar tree test, we trust those, right?

Congrats Maman and Red!!!!!
How terribly exciting!
I disappeared this cycle, last cycle was so stressful I just decided to take a break from the temping and obsessing. I guess I picked a good cycle not to temp, since I've been sick with a terrible flu since Sunday and I can't stop sneezing and coughing, it's totally miserable.
My temps would be a mess from these nightly fevers.
Based off mittelschmertz and CM I think AF is due sometime around the 7th or 8th for me, so I guess I can be moved to Waiting to Know.
Happy New Year to everyone!

12 DPO today and still getting BFN! My body is telling me I am pregnant but I am not thinking about it until I get that positive test. How about you? :)

Wahoo, Stevie! Fingers crossed!
dbl - So happy to hear you're feeling so good! Inspiring :)
Oh Angie, I'm sorry to hear that - that'a pretty rough
Do you think it was maybe something said in the moment? I really hope you can have a restful and as stress free as possible 2WW.
gratefulstella - So great to hear about you being back on the journey! I've added you to back to the roll call :)
jeslynn - Hooray, triphasic buddies! How's the wait going?
jpack - Thanks for the luck! Thanks also for the info about Vitex, it's interesting to hear how other people have gone on it. I've heard before (perhaps in this group?) that it can mimic pregnancy symptoms, so that's not surprising you had that reaction. You're right though, hopefully it's just going to smooth out this cycle.
Seems like there's quite a few of us on the 2WW at the moment, baby dust to you all!

Red!!! Of course we trust those! In fact I know ladies who trust those more than 'proper' tests. CONGRATS!!
Mamaforever - Thanks for taking a look! I've made my TCOYF one public so it should be working now :) I totally hear you about imagining symptoms! Not saying this to get your hopes up, but I'm sure symptoms could show up that early - especially feeling warm, but it could still really go either way. Good luck on holding out to test!
Irish - Thanks for the heads up, I'll move you over :) Fingers crossed for your 2WW!
Fnord - Good to see you! Hopefully you're starting to feel a bit better and de-stressed?
Stevi - Done and done!
jeslynn - Still nothing, crazy! When did you think AF was due? I'm 15DPO and still nothing, but I haven't tested yet because of a possible later O date....trying my hardest to hold out until at least Monday!
AFM - I bought some internet tests awhile ago and was started to get worried about why they hadn't arrived (I'd ordered them mid-November!) but when I checked the order I realised I'd likely had them delivered to my parents place. Argh! It's not their actual house, but a rental they stay in when they're visiting Auckland so no wonder I haven't heard about it. They happen to be staying there now and I'm just envisioning them finding a box with 'PREGNANCY TESTS' stamped all over it, haha. They don't know we're trying or that we had gotten pregnant last year and I would rather keep it that way for now, so hopefully I'll be able to go and quickly grab the package today!

Yay RED!!!!!
Congratulations!
Spread the baby dust!!
Thanks everyone! I really don't know that I can believe this is happening yet. I'm actually quite scared to let myself be happy.
I wasn't planning on testing until Saturday originally because we're moving tomorrow. I wanted to wake up in our place and test instead of at my inlaws. So I won't be testing again until Saturday, and I think if I get more positives then I may feel better about it. But here it is! My hope on a stick!

Doularebekah, That's so funny about the tests at your folks'. Go snatch them up!
FXed Jeslynn- BFNs here too, 10dpo. Boo. Way to stay positive, though! Thanks for passing that positivity along!
Hi all,
I really needed a TTC break so I've been totally avoiding anything that adds to the obscession this cycle. Anyways it's great to see some BFPs! Congratulations! ![]()

Artificial Red: That isn't even a squinter!! Congrats to you!!!
MamaForever: Welcome back. I'm so sorry for your loss. FX and T&P with you for the upcoming cycles. ![]()
Stevi: I'm really hoping that your super donor came through and that you two were successful again!
AFM: I finally saw my doctor yesterday and we talked about how my new thyroid meds are doing, and she wants to keep me on this dose for another month and see how it goes before testing my levels again. She did prescribe 100mg of Prometrium for me to take every day. Not sure about the every day thing since I've seen that most women take it only after ovulation, so I'm a little leary about this. Anyone with experience with Prometrium? I pick up the prescription tonight, so I'm guessing it is the oral pill, not vaginal gel, but we'll see. My AF is due on Sunday, and I'm positive I'm not pregnant, since my temps have remained right around my coverline and haven't risen at all. DoulaRebekah: to answer your question from the last board (because that's how far behind I am!) I went and had my thyroid checked because of several symptoms, including low temps. I had rapid weight gain, feeling incredibly tired, felt really cold all of the time, really dry skin, and the symptom that pushed me over the edge was when my hair started to fall out in clumps and my hairdresser demanded that I see my doctor. By testing my thyroid, we found that my hormone levels were off too, probably because of the thyroid, so that's why I'm doing the Prometrium as well. My doc is hoping that by elevating my progesterone levels, some of the thyroid type symptoms will go away and a raise in the dosage for that won't have to happen. I think my DH is going to have an SA done just to make sure that he isn't shooting blanks here and I'm all medicated up with no where to go! He is supposed to call his doctor today, but I have a sneaking suspicion that he'll forget. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and I swear I'll try and do better about keeping up with this board!
Myllisa, AFAIK, Prometrium comes in soft-gel type pills (like Vitamin E) that you can either swallow or insert vaginally as suppositories. If your doctor didn't talk to you about how to insert them I'm guessing they are meant for oral use. I know progesterone is absorbed totally differently in the digestive tract so maybe that's why you're taking it throughout your cycle? I would call and ask though. If it acts the same way as the suppositories, it'll keep you from ovulating. (It's like BCPs, essentially).
Congratulations, Aritificial Red!
