OMIGOODNESS!!!

I did my divorce paperwork, it felt so good. And I'm 90% certain it got done right, too!

Dishes done, house still clean

Laundry 100% done and away (except for my partner's crap; I dump that in his basket 'cuz I don't fold MY clothes, much less his!)

Made my bed

Drank coffee ALONE, and then had new kitten and talk time with my roommate (both are rare)

Today -

A fitting appointment that has canceled/rescheduled three times

Some serious sewing work (deadline for rescheduled appointment is ENCROACHING!)

Hopefully some shopping to grab materials for other projects

Hands-on activity time with my girls, who I get back for this afternoon and they leave again in the morning for their Dad's (Crazy hectic special occasion schedule!)

Have a sit-down talk with my oldest daughter, who has had a difficult time transitioning between houses lately.

Go team!!!!

Wow that is freeeeeezing SaraMum!  I can't even imagine it actually.

It's 80 degrees F here where I am, but it is summer of course, and actually quite a mild one for us.

Cultivating my roots, congrats on getting your divorce paperwork done!

I haven't got any cleaning done today, but I did get to the gym!  And got the groceries done, collected up all the rubbish and recycling, put the bins out, thought I was done for the day but then DS decided he was going to declutter his shelves, with my help of course! So I ended up spending the last 2 hours doing that with him, ready to drop now.  I feel a sense of achievement though, as it brings us closer to getting rid of the shelves out of his room so we can get him a desk to do homework at. orngbiggrin.gif

Yesterday was kind of a bust!  I only managed to wash sheets/blankets and keep up with the dishes.  I picked up the living room but not as well as I usually do.

Mom31 - my DD won't sleep in her room b/c it's too messy.  bag.gif  She has too much stuff.  I need to purge!  Planning to tackle it in waves -- wave 1 being today (hopefully)!

Well I got almost all of my list completed yesterday :) yay. Today I am working outside of the home and bringing my 19mos old DS with me all day, so I feel if I can get through the day, that will be an accomplishment in itself lol.  But here are a few things I would like to get done today:

-load of CD laundry

-15minutes of tidying in dining/craft/homeschool/hoarders anonymous room

-clean toilet and sinks in upstairs bathroom

-fix the mistake I made in a pair of longies so that I can continue

-get 10 more items to be consigned

-make bagels

Hi everyone! Mom31, I don't know where to start, either, so I"m just going to jump in! I'm going away for a few days, leaving early, early in the morning, dropping DH off at the airport and then driving to my sister's house a couple of hours away. I'll be returning sometime Friday to pick DH up at the airport. But the place feels like such a mess! I know I'm not going to get deep cleaning done. like mopping and such, so I'm just going to try to make the bed and pick things up very generally. I also need  to make a list of things to take with me. And I have to leave out enough food & water for the cats for a few days. I'm alone with the boys until 8:30 PM, at which time it will be time to wind down and prepare to sleep for our very early departure in the morning.

I'm setting my timer.

I transferred clothes to the dryer

washed a load of diapers

decluttered diapers & recorded on thread

brought out books and CDs going to my sister to bring to her on my trip

cleaned out the diaper pail

Next session...

My list today:

*Flip the futon and remake the bed
*Clean the stove
*Find my floor
*Wipe down my bathroom sink
*Take out the trash
*Sweep the kitchen/living room floors.

And I have to do some work from home stuff at some point....  I'll get there...

Bwahahaha. I just vacuumed my sewing room, and used the vacuum as a sort of push-bar to move all the CRAP. Gah. And I'm supposed to be working right now!!! Good luck finding your floor, I wish you a glorious reuniting!

I need a kick in the butt. I was woken up way too early today and my toddler won't nap. I so need a nap. I also need to do another session.

I folded a load of laundry and need to put it away.

I have done nothing- I don't feel good and i am depressed.... depressed at my lack of motivation. HELP!

Aww, Mom31 and PoetryLover!!!! Have either of you located your timers? That always helps me. Especially because the timer ending gives me a scott-free end to the activity; no guilt over nott 'finishing' or 'accomplishing' enough.

Also, YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!

...Did that help?

I'm exhausted today as well!  I'm thinking about making another pot of coffee for the afternoon.

So far today all I've done is:

  • take DD to the pediatrician
  • wipe the surfaces in my bathroom
  • pick up the living room
  • put some dishes in the dishwasher
  • throw in a load of the baby's wash

Is it bedtime yet?

Ok... I did a load of dishes only to find the disposal is not turning on- I fixed it last time but this time its not the same thing wrong.... any ideas. I flip the switch and no noise or anything?  It's not clogged from what I can tell.
