Well, last night after we got home, DH and I were able to:

Pick up clothes in the bedroom (ones just taken off and thrown on the cedar chest)

Made bed (I canNOT stand to sleep in a messed up bed...drives DH crazy!)

Threw a load of clothes in the washer and dryer.

Loaded dishwasher.

Picked up clothes on floor by hamper outside of bathroom (Funny how those clothes can be thrown on the floor just inches from the hamper angry.gif)

Then I soaked my feet, because my dogs were barkin'!

This morning I did manage to make the bed before we left for work. And I also rinsed breakfast dishes (DH made pancakes this morning).  Can't stand to let plates sit with syrup on them.  That's about it though.  Hopefully tonight I can manage a little more.

this morning i only managed to

- clear the sink

- wash one load and put it up to dry on balcony

- buy fresh bread to make sandwiches

(2 medical appointments with a swim session for lunch)

- a little food shopping at a frozen food place (= easy meal tonight, with frozen veggies and frozen meatballs,

i'll just make some runny cornmeal with grated cheese to go with it ... which will take about 4 minutes to "make")

i need to go and wash the inside of the washbasin & the inside of the bath (part of my daily chores)

... instead of vegging out at the computer !!!!

hope to sleep better tonight, am much in need of that ....

am hesitating for tomorrow morning, want to go and swim somewhere where the water is very warm

... on the other hand, the flat could do with a good clean when the children are at school ...

great, i forgot to add that, thanks for the reminder  ... i took the trash out this morning !

(it makes me feel a little less bad when seeing all i haven't got round to doing ...)

i did choose to go & swim this morning + 2 errands in town on the way back

so it's "daily chores only" type of day today

- two loads done and up to dry (one of them being bedding for a bed)

which includes changing hand towel in bathroom and kitchen + dish towel too

- washed up for breakfast and shined the sink

- sanitised the toilet (morning routine)

- clean the inside of the washbasin and the inside of the bath (my afternoon routine)

- had a 1.5 hour nap too !!!!

will shortly be off to a meeting at a local community center: it's to give a testimonial about some meeting groups

(held by a psychologist to help parents with various issues)

so that the grant that is funding the program is maintained !

need to go and collect DD2 from school and get fresh baguette from the baker on the way back !

Woke up early before the alarm this morning.  So I:

Washed 2 loads of laundry and put 1 in to dry

Made my coffee and had breakfast (which I rarely have of a morning)

Folded a load of clothes

Cleaned off the kitchen table

Didn't want to do too much more because I was trying not to wake everyone else up.  I'm glad though, because

we are going out tonight with friends and I won't get anything done.

yesterday was more productive than today

after buying bread, i also cleaned 4 shelves in the fridge (but no time for the drawers)

and washed and spinned the salad i had baught .... two days before (before it got all wilted !!!!)

today i only

- cleaned up the sink

- cleaned the toilet

- cleaned the washbasin & inside of bath

- cooked lunch then had a nap

- did a little shopping

- spent too much time at the computer (AGAIN !)

.... but at least, planned for a playdate tomorrow (including shopping for a picnic) with DD2

whilst DH and DD1 and DS do something else for most of the day, so that she doesn't feel left out ...

am about to cook dinner ... then meetup with a girlfriend in town, for a drink with some expats

(but the choosen location is so noisy ... i might not stay too long !)

today i

- cleaned the two drawers in the fridge (which i didn't get round to yesterday)

- walked around with cloth to clean mirrors & a few frames and 2 smeared window panes

- had a nap late afternoon and got up feeling better, deciding to do the washing up, shine the sink, sanitise the toilet, clean washbassin and bath

(completion did me good mentally)

it was hard getting ready this am but we managed a picnic in a hidden park with two swings (the last two swings of the whole town, population 144 000 !!!!!!!)

with a friend and her 2 kids

i needed to talk with said friend (who had been back home accross the globe for 3 weeks- that was long for me !!!!)

walked 50 min back home instead of waiting for the bus (DD2 had her little scooter so she was happy &motivated to get going since we stopped at the video rental place on the way back )

this am also did one full load and two mini 15 min loads

checked e-mails

need to pack up the computer and feed the rest of the family who just came back from their outing

tomorrow i must remember to buy dish soap and washing powder

hope to sleep better tonight than i have lately (but am having a medical appointment that i'm dreading tomorrow ...)

So this weekend I went food shopping, played with the kids and knitted some.. I got 3 scarves and a stuffed monster finished for stocking stuffers joy.gif However, I also pulled something in my back while roughhousing with the children. I think Im totally accident prone lol.gif or I just need to sleep more so I pay attention to what Im doing. You know prior to having children I hurt myself maybe 5 times in 22 years and in the 5 1/2 years since having children I seem to hurt myself every other week. At least its nothing serious, need to be more careful though!

Today I need to work on a bunch of things. I need to get this house ready for Thanksgiving..
Quick clean the house- girls room done, mine done
Christmas shopping list (going tonight to finish the Christmas shopping before the stores get crowded)
clean out fridge
put the turkey in the fridge to defrost
find camera and upload pictures of DD2's birthday so MIL stops asking for them

Crafting to dos (if I have time, it will carry over to tomorrow anything I don't finish)
a knitted cat (a companion to the knitty kitty I made last year flowerkitty.gif)
finish the picture skirts for all of us.. got to got to get this done so we can take pictures!
picture tie for DS
Christmas tie for DS
Christmas dress for DD3 (ok, just typing that is weird)
child mai tei x 3
child sling x 3
finish making the necklaces for stocking and pictures.

I need to work on Christmas gifts ALOT in the next few weeks. I want to get everything finished by the middle of December so I don't have to rush the week before Christmas. My oldest 2 asked to do a special gift for their Daddy so I need to remember to get everything for that tonight as well.

Okay, been a few days since I've been on here.

On Saturday:

I cleaned out the drawers in DS's chest of drawers

changed sheets on the beds

On Sunday:

We emptied EVERYTHING out of the living room so that new carpet can be installed today.

Monday was a bust.  Had to have a minor surgery so nothing got done at home.

Today:

Woke up early before the alarm, so I put dishes in dishwasher

Washed a load of sheets (and then dried them)

Put a load of dark clothes in to wash

Cleaned off kitchen table and counters

Hi everyone !

today i got up really early (well before the alarm clock!) and got round to doing my bikini line & last night i managed to do "top of feet-top of toes" ... i suppose it comes with age and changing hormonal status ... i do find it upsetting to have to remove hair in these places ....

+ shined the sink and sanitised the toilet STILL before alarm clock rang !

- also did a load of laundry

- folded and put away yesterday's

- remembered to defrost what was needed for tonight's meal

- made a cake to use up to ripe bananas

- nipped to the market to get apples and sliced ham for picnic

- dropped by the dentist to make another appointment (last night session -all of 45 minute- needs to be followed by a few more, alas ....)

- got fresh baguette at the baker next door

- walked (DD2 had her scooter) to our playdate to the park

- socialised a bit there- started lunch

- collected DS from middle school and walked to his eye appointment, giving him his sandwiches on the way

- back home made a healthy salad

- walked DD2 to dance class and back & had a nap in between

- am about to walk DS to his martial art class and maybe drop back to town for a couple of errands ...

was feeling down early afternoon but am more energised now, might tackle some cleaning tonight or some urgent sewing ... we'll see ....
