Poor kid has lost over 3 lbs since moving down here (came here at 21 was 18 when they weighed him at the ER).

Tomorrow I need to start reclaiming my house from the boxes! Im concentrating on the kitchen so I can actually COOK again. My girls are getting really tired of ready made meals and fast food. They want some good mommy food.

Hope to get done:

finish up the knitting project

lay down papers in cupboards

empty dishwasher and do dirty dishes

empty dishwasher and start washing things from the boxes

wipe down counters

wipe down table

sweep/mop floor

Like to get done but I don't see it getting done:

pick up around the living room

pick up the master bedroom including hanging laundry

put together drawers in the girls room

put rest of stuff in shed and lock shed

Oh no, poor little guy--and his poor mama! Sending get-well wishes to him and no-nausea wishes to you.

OkiMom, I am wishing you all the best!!!

I am tired this morning. My bf/partner has been slacking on chores, and ignoring me and my roomate's comments about it. We have been super direct and specific and non-threatening, and it's not working. This morning there were three different issues that he had not taken care of, (shoes, PS3 crap out, and didn't do the dishes) all of which are repeat and he has agreed to fix them. This isn't really like him ( I would not be living with him if it was!) but I have been busy with sewing work, and he doesn't get the whole 'take up slack' concept; instead he does chores when he notices everyone else working. Gah.

Anyways, today I have to;

~Leave in just a minute for an hour long drive to drop off a corset, and then the return trip. Taking bf so we can talk.

~Spend some quality non-work time with my girls

~Clean up my sewing room from my latest projects, and pull out personal projects to work on and enjoy

~Get caught up emotionally

~Got to bank

~Pay bills and such

Good luck, Mamas!

OkiMom - I hope your baby feels better soon. How old is he? I really hate it when kids get sick.

Bejeweled - I hope you get the job. :)

Cultivating - Is he a little depressed maybe or bummed out about something?

So far I have:

-Nursed/changed diapers

-Kissed DS1 off to school

-Drank Coffee

-Loaded dishwasher

So far I still have to:

Clean litter box....AGAIN...if I don't change it everyday he'll pee outside the box. :(

Do laundry (ALWAYS)

Vaccuum living area

Dinner

Nothing. ;-)

I am ok- did not work today cause kids had a half day of school got some stuff done this morning... I am ok. My mom was supposed to come this month to help but now isn't so I am sad and mad and well all sorts of stuff.

On a side note- I found my birth mothers birth family for us yesterday- and so it's been a wind storm of phone calls and introductions etc .... lots of aunts and uncles they are all so excited- it's overwhelming but neat.

She did not know she was adopted till yesterday when I told her.

Happy Saturday! I meant to post last night about what I accomplished but ended up IMing with DS1 for several hours until like 3:30 in the morning. DS2 is here this weekend with his boyfriend so I got to see/talk to both my guys in one day. love.gif

Today I hope to:

*put dry laundry away

*hang laundry to dry

*sort through at least one box in the bedroom Went through ALL the boxes! Almost done putting things in their proper places. A bunch of stuff went to the trash and at least a dozen items went to the Goodwill box.

*walk

I'm having DS1 wash dishes for us. I spent $30 on food for them yesterday so they can do a bit of work. winky.gif

ETA:

*took trash out

*folded about 15 paper cranes

*put dishes away

*trimmed my bangs

*deleted info from old cell phone so it can be recycled (and then I realized I could just remove the SIM card. LOL!)

It's almost midnight here on the west coast and I'm a night owl who gets up hoooouuuurs later than some folks on the east coast, so I figured I'd post Sunday's goals now.

I hope to:

*have my son and his bf tidy and vacuum the living room and vacuum the area around the litter box

*wash dishes

*walk

*dry-dust (aka swiffer) and possibly mop the kitchen floor

Mostly I'm just going to enjoy my last day with my kiddo here, and DH and I are having dinner at MIL/FIL's place. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, everyone!

I'm a little late, but, OkiMom, I hope your little guy feels much better soon. My older son who just turned two had two hospital stays this winter. They are no fun.I see that your son is just about a year. It's stressful when they're so small and sick.I hope he starts putting weight back on. ... Congrats on the pregnancy, too.

EuroMama, congrats on the new baby.

DH and I did a lot of cleaning today. We swept, mopped, vacuumed, did dishes and laundry, as well as generally picking thing up. It's not perfect, but it's certainly much better. I'm going to try to do Motivated Moms this week to keep up with things.

One thing I did today that I am extra happy about is I made double the polenta required for supper and also double the barbecue sauce, so it will be an easy supper for another night. I also made a big pot of rice for a meal another night, and tonight I made rice pudding. I made chocolate pudding (from scratch) to enjoy another night. I like having some things made and ideas handy for week meals and snacks. I usually go into each new week without a plan.

I wish everyone luck and productivity!

I got nothing done today. Okay, I shaved my legs, but only so I could wear a certain pair of leggings since we were going to my inlaws' for dinner (which was really nice). But it's all good. Tomorrow my son will be leaving and I can have my living room and routine back.

Hope you all have a great week!

*bejeweled*, I hope your phone interview went well the other day. smile.gif

It was so nice to wake to a mostly clean apartment this morning. The hared part has been that our dryer stopped heating a couple of weeks ago, so we've been drying our clothes on a drying rack. I can never seem to keep up with laundry these days, especially doing a load of diapers every 1-2 days. We might try to fix it. I don't mind the rack; I just want to buy a second one. I do mind how hard and rough the towels are.

I just purchased the 2012 Motivated Moms with a dollar off coupon.

Here's what I need to do:

Make 1 Administrative Call, taking Notes

Sweep Kitchen

Clean the Kitchen Sink and Counters

Wipe out Bathroom Sink

Read to boys

Quiet Time

Exercise

Prepare Tomorrow's Clothing, Diaper Bag, Personal Bag, etc.
