10-15 Minute Cleaning Sessions (New Thread) - Page 3

Hi *bejeweled * & Baby_Cakes! Happy Productivity!

As soon as I made my earlier post, both boys woke! LOL

I made breakfast, changed diapers, nursed both boys & dressed DS2. I'm sipping coffee and apartment/house hunting!

I'm making it a goal to use my timer today.

Hey Poetry. wave.gif It's good to see you.

Hello, everyone! smile.gif

I am really missing my laptop! Still don't have it back...

So far, today, I:

...got the boys to school

...did a prenatal appointment

...got an hours worth of work done on the computer at the library (came to post here with 4 minutes remaining of my allotted time! winky.gif)

I would like to go home and:

...have a nice lunch

...straighten up the house

...prepare dinner

Hope everyone has a great day!

This is still my list from a couple days ago. I got to delete the one thing I'd already crossed off, but I've been on a roll now. Making lists really do help.

Shampoo my bedroom carpet

Clean my bathroom - The only thing left of my bathroom is the tub.

Clean the inside of the van

Vacuum the van

Wash the shower curtain liner

Get my bed prepared for the birth with extra sheets on top of the clean shower curtain liner - I actually just put the shower curtain liner and extra sheets in my closet and figured I'd not worry about making it. My DH can always change the sheets if needed.

Move Son #1's clothes to the upstairs dresser

Move Daughter #2's clothes into the downstairs dresser

Wash the neutral baby clothes and put them away in the changing table

Put new batteries in the baby swing/bassinet

For today I still need to:

Go grocery shopping

Scrub the shower

Take my shower - I got dressed but never showered

Bake some cookies

Make up the toddler bed after the sheets dry

Put the darks into the dryer

Fold and put away the darks after they are dried

Make something for supper that I can freeze extras of for after the baby is born

I did manage to tidy DDs room yesterday (we set a 10 min timer) but thats it.  I chose to nap with the baby instead of cleaning, and I still stand by that decision!!

so today:

  • fold and put away wash

I spent the morning watching my husband play with our children joy.gifIm one happy lady right now..

Now, however, I have to get working on the dresses for pictures on Tuesday.. 3 dresses, 3 shrugs and a vest for the baby.

First up I need to print out the vest pattern, find the needles and find the yarn.. Then make a list of what needs to get done so I don't have to wander around the house trying to figure it out.

Thanks bejeweled!  It's something I don't do often enough and both kids have been sleeping lousy lately, so I went for it!

Ok, today was good!  The table still is a mess, but...

  • clothes folded and put away
  • 10 min timer in the living area
  • vacuumed living area
  • 10 min timer in kitchen (dishes unloaded and loaded), all surfaces clean, garbage out.
  • towels washed and dried

Ok, tomorrow I need to:

Have a child vacuum the stairs

Take the tub of baby girls clothes out of storage

Organize my kids toy closet

Wash 2 loads of laundry

(Please kids no more peeing the beds or I'll have more wash to do. 3 out of the last 4 nights kids have peed the beds and 2 or them are still in diapers. I need to go buy some overnight diapers I guess.)

Scrub my shower

Have a friend over

Relax and maybe take a nap after lunch smile.gif

How do you ladies manage everything?

I have only managed to put chicken wire around my favourite pear tree (it gives delicious, sweet but firm pears in August-September...sadly I don't know the name of the tree) and proof read a hand-in for Monday.

I had planned to do a load of laundry...but just can't seem to get my butt downstairs to see to it.

Oh well, we all have good days and bad days, no?
