That is so cute!! I remember square dancing in elementary school. Holding hands with the boys! yikes2.gif  lol  Hope she has fun!

DS had another blowout and we are starting solids, so the nature of the diaper changing experience is kind of puke.gif all of a sudden. Thus, today I have:

Bathed DS

Made the bed

Ate breakfast, made coffee and am drinking said coffee

Started a load in the dishwasher

I plan to:

FIND MY PHONE

Vacuum under both couches

Unload the dishwasher

Do a load of ds's clothes

Put clothes away

Earn some continuing education credits

Buy diapers

Make dinner

Declutter island for 15 minutes

Hot spot:top of baby's dresser

Ive spent the last hour and a half breaking up fights between my oldest two.. and its only 7am. I think its going to be a LONG day.. Could someone send me a little extra patience? I'm going to need to..

To dos.. for today.

Have DH call the moving company to file the claim.. they smashed in the glass on our china hutch, broke the bottom of the washer by dropping it out of the truck and lost 6 BOXES of items. Again, someone send me some patience please.

Have DH mail off a package for me

Room for the day: Master bedroom:

clean out all the laundry and sort so we can go to the laundry mat to wash

try to pick up what remains and find places to put them, set aside anything we aren't keeping (seriously, we have a box in there with a Daddy fryer we haven't used since before DD2 was born, I don't think we need to be keeping it

Set up the bed frame and mattress (we bought a new mattress so hopefully it works well with the frame)

Move in the bookcase and unpack the adult books

clean up the bathroom and put down rugs

measure master bedroom windows for curtains..

Is it bad I'm doing the master bedroom before the girls room? If I don't sleep on a real mattress soon I'm going to lose my mind from being sleep deprived!

NO it's not bad! Kids like indoor camping. Pregnant ladies do not.

I didn't get much done today.

NAK

Let ds try peaches- he's a fan

Cleaned up peaches :)

Made the bed

Drove to meet and interview someone who will be caring for ds while I'm at work

We ate out tonight so no kitchen mess! I feel like a huge slacker. I just felt so tired today. I will do a quick once-over in the kitchen on my way to bed.

Hi everyone! Oki, hugs to you. It's wonderful that you're doing your room first (especially being pregnant), as you have to take care of yourself before you can take care of others.

I'm sad that I haven't been able to write all week. For Lent I gave up my resistance to writing. So I'm focusing on poetry and starting by creating an extensive idea file. I've found that if I go a couple or few days without writing, I really feel it and I crave it. This week has just not worked out for me. The boys heave woken at the same as me all week long, so I haven't had the alone time in the morning to wrote--and on top of all that, they have not napped consistently all week. I don't know what is up with that! But both the times each day I have set aside for writing have been eaten.:-(

I'll be back to post chores.

So far I have made breakfast & coffee.

I really need to get moving and groving on unpacking and cleaning up this place. Usually Im a lot more on top of things. Oh well, it will eventually get done.. Tomorrow I want to get what rooms aren't covered in boxes picked up and the girls room cleaned up. DH is picking up new mattresses for them (we trashed all our old once since they came used with the beds and were old) after work tomorrow so I want to get things ready for them to sleep in their OWN ROOM!! tomorrow. Not that I don't love my kids but Im feeling a bit claustrophobic.

Tomorrow To dos:

- clean up the living room

- put the pillows back on the actual couch

- vacuum living room

- measure windows

- dishes, probably a couple of loads. The dishwasher is on the fritz as well so its hand washing irked.gif

-  Clear off sinks and wipe down

- marinate steaks for dinner

- wipe down kitchen table

sweep/mop kitchen

- pick up girls room, put whatever boxes left in playroom (aka the room with all the boxes redface.gif)

- vacuum girls room

- measure windows in girls room and master bedroom

-pick up and vacuum master bedroom

- wash sheets for the girls bed

- make my bed

- make girls beds when we get the mattresses.

If I wake up early I totally plan on vegging watching Expedition Impossible and eating a leisurely breakfast without kids crying about something.

Can I totally embarrass myself and post before/after pictures of the rooms? You guys would honestly be surprised how trashed my house gets when Im not 100%. I think a lot of people who don't know me think I'm some kind of Suzy Homemaker and I'm totally not.

Oki, I love before and after pictures! ... My place is trashed right now and we'll be moving April 1st. So far I've packed 4 boxes of poetry and that's it. But we've only recently decided to move for that date. I have to get more boxes from somewhere. DH is away on business until Friday. I'm not expecting to get a lot done while he's gone.

Hi Oki, I love before and after pics too. I totally understand about the place getting trashed quickly. Right now my DD's room is totally crazy again. And my room is full of dirty laundry again...And the fridge needs to be filled. And... And...

Poetry, did you all find a nice place? Are you moving into an apartment or a house? Do you like the neighborhood? Moving is so exciting and so crazy making.

But so far today I:
*bathed and got dressed
*made breakfast and teapot2.GIF
*rinsed the dishes and cleaned the counters
*took out the trash
*made the bed
*sorted the laundry and started load #2
*picked up milk, bread, etc.
*made lunch and did cleanup
*went to the bank, got gas, and went to the grocery store
*sent a work email out
*worked on my assignment some
*got DD ready to go to the rodeo carnival with her friend. It's so hard letting her go off by herself, but I trust her friend's Mom and I know they will have a great time. happytears.gif

ETA: They had a great time at the carnival. smile.gif

naking.

i have family over from europe right now so i am slacking.

i have to get the yard in decent shape, pick up dog poo etc. i am so ashamed because ds2 was born and the yard has been neglected. :(

everyone always has magazine perfect yards, not us. my dh works tons of hours and with baby and ds1 3 dogs  i just cant keep up. i will find a routine for the yard.
