10-15 Minute Cleaning Sessions (New Thread) - Page 26

CW hug.gif Take it easy! Let your body rest..

I'm exhausted times about a billion today but I need to try to get a few things done. If anything I need to find the charger for my phone so I can charge it and call the OB clinic,. Oops

First up, folding the about 10 loads of laundry that my husband "did" over the weekend. Must try to convince him doing laundry does not mean washing it and then throwing it on the couch. There is also the folding and putting away to do. Then I'm going to go strip my bed and throw the linens in the wash so they are clean by bedtime..

Maybe I should make myself a large steaming mug of hot coca first teapot2.GIF Its times like this I wish I drank coffee. Or anything with caffeine in it!

So, nothing else is getting done today. Im so exhausted I can barely get myself to move. Its just not worth pushing myself when Im this tired. The mess will be here tomorrow. Im going to spend the rest of the day reading to the kids and maybe doing a bit of TV vegging.

OKAY I am back on the posting bandwagon. I have not been doing so well staying on top of things; we went out of town last week and what I had of a routine got wrecked. I've been playing catchup ever since. :P

Today I:

Made/ate breakfast

Unloaded and reloaded dishwasher

Fed animals

NAK

Cleaned out litter boxes

Grocery shopped

Made reservations for anniversary dinner out tomorrow love.gif

Mailed off some bills

Studied for about 45 minutes

Took out trash

Emailed a potential nanny for when I start working (part-time)

Wiped down kitchen counters

I plan to:

Fold and put away a load of dried laundry

Take a shower

Make some sort of dinner... dunno what yet.

Clean it up.

In the immediate future: Get DS down for his afternoon nap!! He's trying to skip it and it turns him into such a bear.

So, I caught a major stomach flu middle of last week.. I'm finally feeling well again and so are the children.. So, the house is even WORSE than it was before.. I didn't think that was possible. I'm going to start by writing up a to do list for the week. There is so much to do that I think making a big list and then chipping away at it might be easier than trying to figure out what to do each day.

Yesterday I managed to write up a to do list lol.gif Well its a start! I'm going to go make breakfast for the kiddos (I'm running late today) and then type up my list of things to do. After that I promised my husband I would proof read something he needs for work (I was an English major for a while, not that you can tell from my total lack of grammar orngbiggrin.gif).

Ill post my giant to do list later.. I figure it will take anywhere from 1-4 weeks to finish this list ROTFLMAO.gifSheepish.gif

Hi everyone! *bejeweled*, that must have been some book!

Today I have to unpack. We've completed the move. I have tons of unpacking to do and it's DH's night to go to school. :-(

I need to:

Call the city and arrange pickup of items at the old apartment.

Make bed.

Find pots and pans so that I can cook lunch and supper.

Work on putting away my clothes.

Work on putting away food and dishes.

Try not to scream from overwhelming frustration. :-(

Fold laundry when it's done drying.

Gather and wash another load of laundry.

Work on cleaning the remaining 3 chairs and side of table.

Thank you...

my arm is still pretty bruised and sore but I am keeping up the exercise at the gym with cardio, and being more careful on the stairs now too!

Poetry- I'm glad you got all moved!

Clutter- stairs are my worst enemy shy.gif I have tripped so many times. I'm glad the arm is doing better.

Yesterday I spent all day helping DH with work related things and I still have 40-60 pages to proof read and correct today.. Its not that I mind helping but Id love him to reciprocate by helping with the housework. It drives me nuts when I spend the day battling morning sickness and working on things for him to get "whys dinner not made" when he gets home af.gif Seriously, our house is so bad I hate having the kids living here. Its not healthy. I'm working on it but I'm one person, taking care of three little people and pregnant.. I can only do so much.

I managed to get the list done and typed up.. Ill post it after this. I figure its going to take me at least 2 weeks to get everything done unless my DH steps up and really HELPS me with the house and kids.

The first thing I have to do is work on the proof reading. I was going to work on it this morning but someone who shall remain nameless work up the whole house getting ready for work. Its hard to concentrate while you have a bunch of kids on top of you.

hug.gif Oki. Is there any way you can swing hiring a cleaning person? If not every week, then every other week? That is what I do.

My DH is disabled, and there is no way that I can do it all. I figure, if he can't help, we can certainly pay someone to help. It is priceless and a marriage saver.
