I have been absent for far too long, and this weekend we had a 16-hour round trip drive, a wedding, I am still juggling school, work (though not enough), and my house is starting to show it. All of the clean laundry from about two weeks (soi most of the clothes we wear at all) is in a pile at the foot of my bed. My dishes have been SLOWLY getting done, but there is still a sink and a half waiting on the counter. :(

My goals today are;

-dishes

-laundry sorted and put away

-Homework (half of my research paper)

-Make dinner WITH the girls, I bought Panda Express sauce so we could make chinese food together, because they picked out greens and Napa cabbage

-Recenter myself and love the life I live. :)

Have a wonderful day everybody!

This week has been hectic and I have really let myself get overstressed with things. Add to that work stress with the hubby (poor guy is way to nice so everyone blames him for things because they know he will take it) and kids acting up.. Its been a hard week and the house is showing it.. Tomorrow I want to get the house presentable, catch up on laundry and wash linens.. then do some fun things with the kids. Hubby is working all weekend (haven't seen him since early Friday morning and won't see him again until late Monday or Tuesday afternoon) so we won't be going to church. I'm going to watch a church broadcast with the kids and do some crafts with them instead..

I hope to:

-vacuum morning/night

- pick up the living room

- put the laundry away

- match socks

- do dishes/clean up the kitchen

- finish washing linens/make beds

- listen to a pod-cast with the kids from last general conference

- make bead sun catchers

- water balloon fight

- sew two scripture bags for my oldest two

- dye tshirts/onesies for after the baby comes

- start doing a meal plan for August.

- tidy the yard, there was a bad storm today so I know its going to be a mess tomorrow.

Bejeweled, cotton candy sounds lovely! Especially combined with all the pool time you and your daughter are having; what a summer!

We 'rescued' a puppy from exceptionally trashy and awful pet owners across the street, and it might just be the straw that breaks me. I had a job interview yesterday, my boyfriend from his first day of double-booking his new job and school (school ends in three weeks) and my house is just refusing to stay clean. In a backwards turn of events, my children have been out of the house a lot, with their father and at preschool, and I am missing them while simultaneously being too busy too appreciate them when they are home.

Phew. Thank you for letting me get that out. I am actually very happy with where life is headed, I am just overwhelmed with school, work, and transitioning to the potential of not being self-employed. On the upside, yesterday I;

~vaccummed everywhere

~did laundry

~put away clothes

~went to the gym (and I am hearing about it rfom my legs today!)

~put another sundress into the mending box, for the last two hand-sewn seams.

~ate healthy!

~did all of the dishes

~Aced a job interview!

Today I...

~Woke up at 5 and made partner/BF breakfast before his work shift

~Wetnt back to bed and snuggled with two little girls and two dogs in bed (Sometimes I miss cosleeping- then there's a dog on my feet and two children pushing me off the bed and I remember that all things are good in MODERATION)

~Made breakfast for my girls and tidied a bit

~Hung up all of my clothes from laundry and also too many daily changes

~Am wearing a skirt around the house because it feels nice

~Starting my emails and more chores, so my super-tired BF doesn't come home to chaos and dirt

~Will CONSIDER doing some outside chores since he is so busy. Maybe.

Have a wonderful day!

Hi, Poetry and Bejeweled! I've been away from this thread for a long time. Lately I've been on a decluttering and organizing kick and I'm hoping to keep my motivation up. smile.gif

So far today I've gone to the library with the kids and made lunch. I still need to:

-do the dishes

-put clean laundry away

-clean out cat box

-run the trash outside

-clear, declutter, and organize third bathroom shelf (I've been doing a shelf a day)

-tidy bookshelves & end tables

-have kids do their summer bridge workbooks

-have storytime
