Today I:
*made breakfast and coffee
*got DD off to school
*rinsed the dishes and cleaned the counters
*put out the trash
*swept the balcony
*watered the plants
*trimmed the flowers
*cleaned up the craft area
*washed the duvet
*took DD to an appointment and picked up a sundae for her
*cooked dinner early
*vegged awhile
*picked up DD's prescription
*walked a long while

Hi bejeweled

I didn't get everything done I wanted to but I got a lot.. Im about to take a warm bath and get some sleep Tomorrow I hope to finish todays list and then:

make some kind of cookie for hubby to take to work with him (he has a 25 mile hike on Friday)

make another 2 loaves of bread-rising

make rolls

make muffins

make 2 steak sandwiches (hubbys dinner, he has to start staging for the hike at 11pm!)- steaks are in the oven

clean the bedrooms

clean out the closet in the playroom

dinner: salisbury steaks and rice or mashed potatoes

breakfast: pancakes and sausage

Good Morning.
Today is kinda a low energy day. It may be because our air conditioning is on the fritz. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

So far I:
*made breakfast and coffee
*got DD off to school
*sorted lots of clothes and emptied a catch all for clothes
*started load #1
*rinsed the dishes and cleaned the counters
*put out the trash
*went out to a nice lunch w/DH
*vegged all the rest of the day
*made dinner

Tomorrow I hope to:
*continue the laundry
*job search
*walk

Hi ladies !

Today I have done so far

- hung up some laundry outside , because it was such a sunny morning

- made breakfast for the lo´s

- fed myself

- realized , that my dishwasher door doesn´t stay closed anymore

- took the lo´s to their check-up

- grabbed some stuff in the store on the way home

- got home just to realize , that it must have rained really , really bad on our side of town ,  

  and all of my clothes were completely soaked

- fed lo´s lunch , after rescuing my poor stuff and took a nap afterwards

  I am still feeling the aftermath of our long driving trip

- tried to fix the dishwasher , didn´t work , but if I lean something heavy against it , it runs   

  anyway , so I don´t have such a hurry to get it fixed

Things , I still need to do 

- sweep the floor

- put aweay some laundry

- plant a few walnut trees in mine and also my Mother´s yard

- pick our red currants ( even though I might just do that tomorrow , when the kids are off )

Yesterday we ended up having workers come in and redo the entire bathroom floor from water damage.. In one way Im glad it was prior baby but the smells made me SOOO sick Im still feeling it.. Not much else got done since I spent my time keeping the kids away from the bathroom.. Today DH has to work (won't be home till tomorrow) so Im going to try to get a few things done. Im keeping the lists short and will update when one is done..

First list:

1) Finish diaper laundry (in the wash), rotate new load in (want to catch up on the laundry today)

2) put away laundry thats folded in the bedroom

3) clean off table in kitchen, do dishes, wipe down sinks, sweep

4) draft a jumper pattern and skirt pattern for oldest

5) draft a baby skirt pattern

6) Cut out a trial jumper and check for fit issues

7) If fit is good cut out 5 more jumpers

8) Cut out a trail skirt and check for fit issues

9) If fit is good cut out 2 more skirts

10) cut out 1 baby skirt.

11) Morning clean up, get kids dressed, brush teeth

*scooped the litter box
*took DD to piano lesson and band practice
*read
*made lunch and did cleanup
*took a nap
*washed one load of clothes
*made the bed
*took DD to the pool
*wiped down the bathroom
*am waiting for pizza to be delivered

So I haven't gotten much done today.. I did take a 3 hour nap while the kids watched tv Does that make me a bad mom? I needed sleep sooooo bad.. Bad thing is Im still tired. Im going to go make dinner and probably won't get anything else done the rest of the night. I don't think sewing/drafting patterns and lack of sleep mix very well.

I know I am not a regular here, but we are MOVING!!! I am out of my mind thinking about the next week, we are moving early out of our current lease in order for my partner to start his DREAM job, which is 2.5 hours away. I also have a job that I should be hearing back from by Wednesday night. It would be PERFECT. 

In the meantime, moving more than in-town is CRAZY stressful!

lack of sleep/poor sleep but drafted a list and am crossing things off, so far

- got up, had breakfast, including some medication in a set order (despite foggy mind)

- dried up and put away dishes, washed what was in the sink, shined the sink

- made "to do list"

- checked e-mail

- started one load in the washing machine

about to get washed, dressed and go to market & buy fresh bread ...

*opened the windows and turned on the fans
*am about to wash load #1

I hope to:
*read the paper
*go to the pool

- picked red currants at my Mother´s house 

- made some cake with them

- baked some bread

- cooked dinner

- checked homework with my youngest son

- put away a load of clean clothes

other than that

- laid on the couch and watched TV for a while , haven´t done that in awhile , but I figured it is Sunday and everyone ´s got to be lazy sometimes

IsaFrench; 'going to market to buy fresh bread' sounds like a film-noir romantic excursion!

bejeweled; I hope your day went as planned, we spent all day packing boxes, the pool would have been a lovely respite!

tonttu; lazy Sundays are the best, especially after currant picking and baking!

after living near two supermarkets in the US for 3 years, .. i do appreciate all the more the local (about 4 minutes walk from our flat) baker

they don't all of them make good baguettes (depends on how industrial/ artesanal is their process...)

but this one is doing his job very well

so we indulge more

(and i told off DH in the past when he made the "mistake" of buying bread from the baker near the supermarket, in quality it's terribly awaful ...)

... i even sew a cloth bag with string handles (sometimes the bread is VERY hot coming out of the oven ...) specially for when we go and buy bread ...

very sluggish this am, just had tea so far

& sent both eldest to catch the bus to school ... the first time that DS is going "alone" with DD1

DD2 still asleep, need to get washed and dressed & then wake her up to get her ready for school (we leave 1h10 min later !!!)

today =only my second day "alone" for 2 months, my "to do list" is humongous .....

I have so much to get done this week Im trying to get as much as possible done early since I know that the later week will be harder to get things done.. What Ive gotten done so far:

-worked on laminating/putting together things I need for the girls schooling

-made breakfast and lunch

-spent most of the night up with my middle who suddenly was scared of the dark and freaked if we turned out the light

- made breakfast, lunch and dinner

- did most of the school things with my oldest

Need to:

finish the rest of the laminating.. need to cool the machine first

draft a skirt and dress pattern

make trail dress and skirt

finish school things with my oldest

quick clean apartment

do laundry

start preping newborn diapers

if I catch up on laundry Im going to go ahead and wash the baby clothing/blankets etc.

I just realized I do better with a "done" list than a "to do" list. So, so far today I:
*made breakfast and coffee
*got DD off to school
*rinsed the dishes and cleaned the counters
*cleaned up cat mess
*put out the trash
*made 6 job contacts either by email or phone
*made the bed
*wiped down the bathroom
*started laundry load #3 for the day
*am vegging awhile

I hope to:
*continue the laundry
*take DD to horse riding

Oooh, I like that! The list of things I need to do is so huge and overwhelming. Much better to spend my spare time on MDC .

But a done list would be so much more satisfying and make me feel like adding things to it...
