10-15 Minute Cleaning Sessions (New Thread) - Page 48

I need to work with a done list too.. To many days I feel like I haven't done anything but when I really look at what is accomplished Ive done a ton. Its just hard to realize how much you have done when you got a ton to do..

I ended up not getting my list done yesterday, Im trying to take it easy since Im swelling bad this pregnancy (not blood pressure related though, just swelling which is making me uncomfortable).. I really need to work on a few things today and hopefully at least get the school stuff done I need to do for the kids. I have their next 6 phonics books printed out, they need to be laminated and the worksheets put into a binder. If I get that done (which right now Im not sure I will!) then Ill move on to cleaning up the apartment.

I like the idea of a "done" list, too, though... I also really enjoy writing lots of things down that I think I can get done. :D

So far today I've:

-made coffee

-worked my FT job (while tending to my toddler most of the time)

-made the bed

-did a quick clean of the master bathroom

-folded two loads of laundry

-washed two loads of laundry (whites, diapers)

-washed windows in the living room and mirrors in two bathrooms

-did a sinkload of dishes

-spent about 20-30 minutes straightening up the office space, sorting things for the garage sale we're having in two weeks

-recycled unnecessary mail

In about an hour, I'll start on dinner and work on getting DS down for the night. After he goes to sleep, I'll straighten the downstairs and kitchen, work on making some garage sale labels and maybe take a few moments for myself!

Good morning ,

today I am :

- working on yet ANOTHER pile of laundry ( I don´t know , where it all comes from sometimes )

- sweep the floors and mop them, tidy up the living room a bit and run another round in the dishwasher ( which got fixed yesterday YAYHHHHH !!! joy.gif)

  I don´t know , HOW people could live without one , I know , I couldn´t ! orngbiggrin.gif

- mail a few letters , including an application for living allowance , since I am a free and single woman now ( with 6 kids , ahem ) and I KNOW , my

stupid ex is gonna use EVERY excue in the World not to pay for his kids hopmad.gif

- wait for the carpenter to come over and tell me , what home improvements I can and cannot do in my house . So exciting !

- figure out , what to make for dinner . I am open for any suggestions , except things with rice , since it seems , like tht´s all we had for the last few weeks

- play with my lo´s , I feel like such a crappy Mother , it´s been so busy lately , I really need to make an effort for some one-on-one time , especially with

  my 2-year-old .

very early morning here but have already

- got up, washed, dressed

- drank tea, had breakfast

- started shopping list (for later today or maybe tomorrow)

- started a load of laundry that will get to dry on the line before last child is at school

(i'll need to get a second load going when i'm back from my morning errands !)

- researched on internet for some expat friends & sent them details about one of their needs

(selfish in a way = it makes me feel good to do it LOL)

- looked on-line for an urgent birthday present i need to order for a last minute invite to a Bday party this Sunday

- realised  i do NOT have the paperwork to fill in for a form that was due ... yesterday for sport for DS

- found the "right" checkbook for the sports registration checks i'm going to write out this week

- started gathering what i need for DD1 for her sport registration (some of the stuff ...is in a pile i haven't addressed since mid june ...bad bad bad ...)

am going to re-arrange clothes in DD2 clothes cupboard so that long trousers and long sleeves top are easier to take out than shorts and t-shirts ...

+ need to check the weather forecast & make sure DD1 and DS take a jacket to school, NOW

So far this morning:

- did the dishes

- wiped down the table

- took the trash out

- cut out a skirt for DD1

-did measurements for DD1

- finished school lessons with DD1

- turned the laundry back on because its still not done drying

-got all three kids dressed, teeth brushed and hair done

- showered, dressed and did my hair

- helped the kids pick up around the house and watched them vacuum

- took a nap hide.gif

-drafted dress and skirt pattern

-rotated laundry

- ordered a new carseat for DD1 and the baby

Now Im going to go finish cutting out a trail run of the patterns I drafted then Im going to sew them. Hopefully I get those done before I have to leave. After that Im going to have the children clean up around the house and get ready to go so we can just leave when DH gets home.

Don't know what will get done today.. I have crabby kid issues.. I did take my oldest in to the eye doctor this weekend and she needs glasses so Im taking the week "off" of school with her waiting for her glasses to get here. I figured its just plain mean to try to get a child to do something that will be difficult to impossible since physically she can't do it. I need to concentrate on some baby prep anyway smile.gif

So far I:

made a skirt for my oldest

dealt with crabby pants children orngbiggrin.gif

meal plan and shopping list until the first

decided on dinner.. changed my mind and choose to do something else redface.gif

Took a nap

rotated/folded/put away laundry twice

fixed the ergo (buckle broke)

helped DD1 made a skirt for the baby

printed out a pattern for DD1 to make a kitty for the baby made lunch made laundry soap refilled the "cleaner" bottled (vinegar and water mix )

Eat something and then make bread.
