Hello ,

today I

- went on a major grocery shopping marathon with my friend

- did about 50 loads of dishes ( or so it feels )

- cooked , pureed and froze a few dinners for my baby sweet pea

- made tacos for everybody

- washed and dried a few blankets

- played outside with my boys , while the lo´s were sleeping

- swept and mopped the floors downstairs

- gulped down a few cups of tea in-between to keep me going

and NOW I am ex-haus-ted orngbiggrin.gif

so I think , my clean clothes can wait until tomorrow fo me to put them away

The last thing , I will do now is to sleepytime.gif

have had a mad 5 days ....

trying to make myself feel that "today is a new chance to get things right" (and to forget all that is late// am stressed about ...)

- got up, got washed, dressed, had breakfast

- nipped to the market (= i know what we are having for dinner tonight)

- 2 loads of laundry out of the machine and on line to dry on balcony

- folded 3 loads of laundry, it's partly put away

- dropped at some aquaintances-expat & phoned the insurance on their behalf to sort out the glitch

in theory it's sorted out ... in practice they were supposed to be e-mailed 3 documents that they would forward to me so that i could print them for tomorrow

.... but i haven't received anything yet, so that's pending, progress is made on that but it's not a wrap.

- fed the kids a slice of pizza in town, standing, and hurriedly came back to get DD2 changed & walked to her dance class, we arrived about 30 seconds before the teacher

- dropped the recyclable stuff at the collecting point, hadn't gone for at least 5 days so that was an armload

- picked up 5 items at the corner store

- went to retrieve DD2 from danse class

- helped DS with math exercise & preparing his sports bag for later on today

- about to make some pancakes for afternoon snack so as to use an egg that needs to be used

- a third load is in the machine & have to re-make 2 beds

Hi IsaFrench, you might want to concentrate on getting things just "ok". I try to use the motto: "Taking care of 20% of the work solves 80% of the problem". It takes away a lot of stress if I try to do "just enough". I try to wipe up spills quickly and pick up stuff when it's small so that it doesn't become too big. Otherwise, I just get overwhelmed.

So far today I:
*made breakfast and coffee. I was so hungry!
*got DD off to school
*rinsed the dishes and cleaned the counters, hand washed the wine glasses
*put out the trash and opened the windows
*made the bed
*straightened up
*made my breast appointment thumb.gif
*did a meal plan and went to the grocery store thumb.gif
*put dinner in the oven
*read reading.gif and relaxed
*walked jog.gif
*watched Survivor

Once again I didn't get anything done yesterday.. Im really tired and dragging.. I did get some done today, I got the house picked up at least orngbiggrin.gif

I also

cut out the baby's coming home dress

helped DD1 cut out the ribbon kitty she is making for the baby

cut out a dress for the stuffed horse the girls picked out for the baby

made breakfast and lunch (and it was something more than PB&J!)

folded and put away the laundry that has been sitting on the couch for 4 days Bolt.gif

finished the knot blanket

did the outline

did two sections

Now Im going to go sew the coming home dress. When Im done with that Im going to help DD1 sew the ribbon cat she has been working on for the baby and finish the black skirt. When I get done with that Im going to start deep cleaning the kitchen.. By the time I get that at least part way done it will be time to do the afternoon clean up and make dinner.

OkiMom; 4 days on the couch when you're almost due? Psh. That's on top of things! I left my laundry IN THE WASHER for 4 days. And then, of course, had to rewash it so it didn't smell like the drain. By my estimation, you're winning. (Especially since yours is now put away...) I also LOVE that your kids do arts and crafts and that you are still sewing! bow.gif

Tonttu; I'm sorry you feel like you're dragging. :( I hope things pick up again!

We are moved, and I know I don't post here much, but I read it every time there's an update. It is so nice to remember that everyone else has to-do lists as long as themselves, too!

GO TEAM!!!  energy.gif
