Constant night nurser!!! Help!

Alright, I am back where I was 6 years ago with my first DS.  I now have an 8 month old DS that is constantly night nursing and it is driving me insane!  I swear he wakes up every hour to comfort nurse and I am losing it!  I try to refuse, but he will just cry and wake himself up even more, so I give in and nurse him.  He is sleeping horribly and so am I!!  I swore I wouldn't do this again, and here I am back in the same predicament I was with my first son. I was able to get my first to take a pacifier eventually, but this one will have nothing to do with the binky and I don't want to nurse him every hour anymore!  I was really hoping to have him in his crib by now, but there is no hope for that.  He will only go down in his crib at night for about an hour and then wakes back up and won't go back in the crib to sleep.  He does the same thing during naps - nurses to sleep, then if he wakes up, he is up.  Won't go back down on his own.  It was fine when there was just one child, but now I have three and it is much more difficult!!  My second child did not co-sleep and she was so easy!!!!  I thought I would do the same with the third, but he was a reflux baby (just as my first was), so he cosleeps.  He grew out of the reflux but now I can't get him out of the bed!  Help!!!  By the way, I do love snuggling with him and sleeping with him, but he is not getting any quality sleep and neither am I, so it is time for a change.

I have no advice, but have the same situation. My first took a binky as well and was at least night weaned by this point and woudl sleep near me but not cradled right next to me, but my 8 month old will not take a binky and is up CONSTANTLY at night with gas, or wanting to nurse and seems to need to be right next to me.  I am about to go crazy!  He won't allow my husband to get him back to sleep either and just "wakes up" then.  I imagine it's a wait in out thing as I won't do CIO.
