Hi there. I've been a MDC lurker for about a year and a half now and just registered last night. I have an almost-1 year old intact son who is cloth diapered [but has been pooping on the potty since Thanksgiving!], still nursing, bedsharing, and lives in his didymos wrap. We aim to live a simple lifestyle and prefer quality over quantity in every aspect of our lives. I'm looking forward to chatting and learning from you all, especially on maintaining a minimalist lifestyle, especially as a craftsperson.

What do you all like to make?

And do you spend more time pinning or making? LOL

Pinterest is either my best friend or worst enemy right now.

Welcome! I haven't gotten the hang of Pinterest, but maybe that is a GOOD thing from all the posts I see from friends saying they're so addicted! I like to look at other people's pins, but haven't really done much of my own.

I have olders and a 6 mos old son.  It is SO hard to be minimal with crafting......it's probably my one huge downfall. My other is kitchen 'stuff'....but I use it, because I cook from scratch!

most of the homeschool mamas in my area IRL are on pinterest. I've checked it out twice and didn't really seem like it was for me. I'm not real crafty though.

I'm glad you decided to stop lurking and say hello. I like to read new posts so the more the merrier IMO.

CrunchyClark- I hear ya! Although, I will say that moving really helps and we'll be moving to a bigger place this summer, so.. I guess I'll work on downsizing my crafting things then.

maybe look on meetup.com that's where my homeschool group is. Wish I was more helpful but I don't know very much about the east bay.
