Ive had my Mirena IUD in for 17 days and it fell out today.

I got it put in on December 16th, and it fell out today. I went to pee and wiped myself and was there on my toilet paper. I didn't feel it at all, but my husband and I have been having sex like crazy. (Sorry about TMI) I am just very curious. I'm scared I may be pregnant. I know the same day I got it I bled a little bit, but after that I hadnt bled again. And just 2 days ago I started bleeding, hardly at all, but enough to notice it. I was bleeding up until after it fell out. An hour and a half later I am still freaking out wondering how it fell out. Since today is pretty much the holiday the doctor is not open for me to call and tell them what happened. I don't know if it was just misplaced or if it was my bodies doing. Im scared and not sure at all of what to do.

I would contact your dr in the morning and see what he says and possibly get the morning after pill if it's not too late if you really don't want to get pg.
