Aquaborn or La Bassine pool?

I'm planning on ordering my birth pool this week, but am having a hard time deciding between the Aquaborn or the La Bassine. Seeing as the cost to rent a pool locally ($250 for an Aquadoula) would be the same or more than buying one outright, I'm more inclined to buy one of these 2 models. Obviously, the Aquaborn has more bells and whistles, but I'm wondering if the La Bassine would work just as well (in terms of sturdiness, comfort, ease of use, etc.).

Any feedback would be much appreciated! Thank you!!! :)

I can only say that I used the aquaborn and loved it.... not only was the color so soothing, the depth was *amazing* I preferred the handle placement and the big advantage to me was the lid which kept the water good and warm during my long labour so I could hop in and out as I pleased. I agree with you on the rent vs buy thing... I got mine on CL. Plus, you could always resell. Best of luck with your amazing waterbirth..!

( However, if you've got someone there to do your warm-ups then either would be a real treat...! )
