Hi everyone,
Â
I've recently developed eczema and it seems to be spreading. It's uncomfortable (quite itchy) and unsightly (rash as well as starting to change my skin texture in places). I'm hoping to get the naturopathic take on how to control this...any ideas?
Â
I saw my dermatologist several months ago for a routine melanoma check (family history) and at the time she told me I had it on the backs of my knees (I knew I'd been itchy, but hadn't realized) and gave me an Rx which helped. But since then I've come to realize that the rash I had that came and went (and now never really goes away) on the inside of my forearms is eczema and it's also spreading to the outsides of my arms and in and around my elbows and the discomfort level is growing. Â I will call my dermatologist and a naturopath I know but welcome any pointers.....by the way I am in my 40's, other wise quite healthy. My skin has always been sensitive but I don't have other indicators of eczema, like allergies. This is the first eczema I've known of but possibly earlier skin sensitivity episodes were actually eczema but I have never had anything this prolonged (over several months).

Thanks in advance!
Stella
