Dollar tree test vs. First Response

I took  2 dollar tree tests yesterday with afternoon urine and both were faint (I had one a bit darker, after holding urine for about 5 hours and a fainter one after 2 hours), but had a pink line for sure.  Even DH and DD1 saw it.

This morning with FMU I took a First Response and stark white.  What the heck?  I tried to see what the sensitivity was for the 2 and it seems they should be around the same.

Any insight?

forgot to add that i tested because of severe nasea and food aversion. No breast tenderness, but I am nursing DD2 and same thing happened with last pregnancy (no tenderness while nursing)

I love Dollar Tree tests. For me, they have been super accurate at 8-9 dpo. I generally don't test on anything else but DT for the first few days after the inital BFP.

Just ran to dollar store to get a few more.  Tested with mid morning urine (only 2 hours since the first response test) and again got a  not so faint, but not dark BFP.  I guess we are pregnant!!!

The lines on the dollar tree tests have disappeared now too.  Chemical pregnancy most likely.

I do not like cheap tests, which includes Dollar Tree tests. I have gotten pink lines and not been pregnant. First Response, for me, has always bbeen negative when I am not pregnant, and clearly positive when I was. The extra money is worth the reassurance.
