I need help, mamas. Â I am completely, totally at the end of my rope with my 4-year-old twin boys. Â They've been using the toilet for almost 2 years now, and we've gone through phases of one or the other of them doing better and doing... less better with it, which I have always accepted as just part of the process. Â
Â
But now, at 4 years and 4 months old, they have suddenly started having multiple accidents a day. Â Both of them, often at the same time. Â O is mostly peeing in his pants (and all over the floor), although he has also been having poop accidents. Â J has almost exclusively been having poop accidents, up to 6 or 7 times a day. Â I seriously cannot handle it anymore. Â I'm 30 weeks pregnant, and the smell makes me want to puke, not to mention that I'm now panicking about having one in diapers and two older ones ACTING like they're in diapers. Â
Â
We've tried everything we can think of. Â I know we have some changes coming up in our lives, with the new baby and all, but practically speaking, I just don't know what to do about this. Â I think I may run screaming from the house if I have to clean up too many more of these..... Â The kicker is that I know they are perfectly capable of making it to the bathroom in time. Â They know how to do it. Â They've been doing it for a long time. Â I just don't have any idea how to get them back to using the toilet instead of their pants.
Â
Advice? Â Sympathy? Â I'll take just about anything at this point....
