Hello moms,

 

I live in Charlottesville VA and sometime in the next 2 years, I would like to start a small at-home daycare. I am thinking of having only 3 or 4 children. I have so many questions, it's hard to figure out how and where to start. I should probably mention that I have a college degree in early childhood education. I also am French-Canadian, therefore, I can teach the children French, as a second language.

 

What is a reasonable cost to ask for at-home day-care? Although I have worked in a few local preschools, I am not sure what was the tuition cost. I also believe that at-home care wouldn't cost the same as a big preschool would.

 

If you have any comments or suggestions, I would love to hear your thoughts!
