photography e course for elementary school age kid?

I'm after some kind of online course, preferably with a flickr group or similar, that my 8 year old and possibly my 6 year old could do. Nothing hugely fancy. We've been liking "I wanna take me a picture" but I think they really would like a community of other kids. Otherwise its a bit like, wow, look, mummy is talking again.  It doesn't have to be a structured course per se, but I think my 8 year old would really enjoy doing one.

I was looking at the courses over at persisting stars http://persistingstars.blogspot.com/ and I am sure they used to do a kids one but I cannot find it. But thats the sort of thing I am after, something a bit more creative and imaginative than "this is how you compose a picture", more like the "i wanna take me a picture" approach (I love that book!). Kind of creative photojournalism, I suppose, with some introspection thrown in.
