Internationally famous French physician, Dr. Michel Odent, will be speaking on the increasing use of birthing technologies and its impacts. The rate of C-section deliveries has expanded wildly. What do we know about the causes and consequences of this trend? Tues. Jan. 17th 6:30pm UHH Campus Center Room 301. Sponsored by Global H.O.P.E.

He will also present at Hilo Medical Center,Jan18,2012, at The Ground Floor Conference room from 6-7pm.This one is for medical professionls only,midwives and doulas are considered professionals and are welcome.
One more venue is arising but at this moment not confirmed.

He is also going to be in Honolulu in October which I'd love to go to if I'm not pregnant

It was $99 for the 3 day conference right?  That' a really great price for all they are offering.

It's $180, which for me might as well be a million. Plus, I live on the BI. :(

bummer, last year they were advertizing it for $99. Looks like they raised the fee recently.  I'd still go If I knew I was not going to be pregnant. Man, I have until Feb 29th, to sign up.  I hope you get to see him!!!
