What about LOW blood pressure?

Thread Starter
I have been reading the csec at 25 weeks thread regarding pre-eclampsia (high blood pressure).

Is there such a thing as too LOW a blood pressure?

I am always seeing stars when I stand up too fast...even if I stand up slowly, actually. I never actually pass out...but last time I was at the midwife my BP was like 110 over 48. Yes, you read that correctly.

So is there such a thing as TOO LOW? And if so, what can I do about it??

Thanks,
Abby

Are drinking enough water and aslating to taste

Medically, I'm told that there's no such thing, but if your bp drops "too low" it can cause problems like you are having.

Eh, my bp at my last prenatal appt was 80 over 50 (normal for me is about 90 over 50). I wouldn't worry about it. I sure don't, and none of my caregivers ever have, either.
