Hello everyone- I found out this morning that I'm pregnant. Â Surprise! Â I'm still very early- possibly around 4 weeks. Â I'm not totally sure yet.
Â
My just turned 2 year old DD is still nursing, but is easily deterred if the deterrent is tempting enough. Â I've really only had to say no to nursing when I just get home from work and have to pee, etc. Â But even then, it's "wait 5 minutes", not "no" altogether.Â
Â
My breasts are already sore, but nursing isn't really bothering me. Â I have a feeling this will change and would like to cut back a bit on nursing. Â Right now she's sick, possibly with pneumonia, so this wouldn't happen until after she's well and happy again. Â
Â
My goal is to cut down enough so that it is easier for her to quit nursing on her own once my milk dries up.
Â
Any ideas as to how to go about this? Â She *occasionally* nurses at night, we co-sleep. Â I'm looking to change that also- maybe put a bed for her in our room and slowly transition her into her sister's room?
Â
Anyways- if anyone has any input or ideas or help, please do share!
