Partial weaning due to pregnancy- help!

Hello everyone- I found out this morning that I'm pregnant.  Surprise!  I'm still very early- possibly around 4 weeks.  I'm not totally sure yet.

My just turned 2 year old DD is still nursing, but is easily deterred if the deterrent is tempting enough.  I've really only had to say no to nursing when I just get home from work and have to pee, etc.  But even then, it's "wait 5 minutes", not "no" altogether.

My breasts are already sore, but nursing isn't really bothering me.  I have a feeling this will change and would like to cut back a bit on nursing.  Right now she's sick, possibly with pneumonia, so this wouldn't happen until after she's well and happy again.

My goal is to cut down enough so that it is easier for her to quit nursing on her own once my milk dries up.

Any ideas as to how to go about this?  She *occasionally* nurses at night, we co-sleep.  I'm looking to change that also- maybe put a bed for her in our room and slowly transition her into her sister's room?

Anyways- if anyone has any input or ideas or help, please do share!

Congrats on your pregnancy. I have no real advice about weaning, other than its possible that your milk may just disappear and your DD will wean herself. I had a really hard time staying asleep for the first trimester because of DD wanting to nurse at night, so I started out by wearing non-boob accessible clothes to bed. After about a week, she didnt nurse at night anymore.
