This is a thread for all the wonderful mamas from the Infertility ONE Thread who have beat the odds with IF and are expecting their long-awaited miracles! (Stalkers are welcome, too!!)

Due in July

renavoo - Due in July (although technically, with twins, I'm sure it'll be earlier.)  35, TTCing for 2 years before IVF finally gave DH and I our twin miracles. 

Due in August

monkeyscience - 28, expecting #1 with dh (25) - after 1.5 years of trying with PCOS - we got our free baby!

Due in October

wissa19 - with DH, and DS ('07), expecting #2 after 2.5 years, 3 doctors, 1 surgery and 5 medicated cycles.

gozal - DH and I are finally giving DS ('07) some siblings after 2.5 years of unexpected challenges, including a rare pituitary tumor and a suspected ectopic pregnancy. Two siblings, to be exact! Very excited to be expecting our twins in October.

Due in November

Gemmine - 27, DH 28, expecting #1 after 1.5 years of trying and 1 loss. EDD: November 4th.

Due in December

chicajones - 27, expecting #1 with DH (30) - after 1.5 years of trying with PCOS. Metformin did the trick and we're so excited to meet our Christmas baby!

Just found this because I'm bored while waiting for labor to finally start after 2 days of leaking. I was on the thread a long while ago, just before we luckily got pregnant.

Monkey (Raises hand)- I'm here! Didn't realize you had started another One thread grad forum. The more the better! Here's mine: Due July 25 with identical twins! 30 years young: Conceived after IVF with a total TTC time of 9 months. My fertility challenges: Endometriosis, Hashimoto's Disease (Anti-thyroid antibodies) and Diminished Ovarian Reserves (thought to be a direct result of Endometriosis).

Anyway, so Monkey, tell us how else you're feeling? Is your nausea mild or are you experiencing really bad nausea? I'm so happy you're feeling better about the pregnancy...I know that we all take it day by day when it comes to these pregnancies and that we're never going to completely not worry (even when they are born) but I love these little milestones! i was so happy when i heard the heartbeats. And then when I saw movement. And now I'm looking forward to the 20 week scan in, oh 5 weeks (which feels like a lifetime away!)

Are you feeling any specific cravings? That's the one thing i've been missing...haha i want to say that I have an ice cream and pickle craving but i haven't had ANY cravings! I mean I have foods I can't eat without gagging...mostly fried foods. The smells even bother me but otherwise, no cool cravings. sniff

Anyway, thanks for starting the thread. I always feel weird talking about my pregnancy on the infertility sites because I don't want anyone to feel bad so this is a great place to talk and share experiences!

Monkey- You must be pretty busy because you forgot to add us to the front. AFM- Belly starting to really feel hard. It's amazing!

Okay, finally had a chance to get on a real computer and update things! Between feeling sick and trying to give dh some attention when I don't feel sick, I'm not on here a ton. So I'll try to update things as often as I can, but it may not be super often until I feel better.

Speaking of which, I am doing somewhat better. It's a slow process, but I think things are improving. It's frustrating because it's so darn unpredictable. Some days I just feel a little bad in the morning, and feel decent the rest of the day. Sometimes I feel okay in the morning, but feel like crap the rest of the day. Or many other variations. I'm getting sick of not really being able to brush my teeth because I start gagging. (I have a fairly strong gag reflex even not pregnant, but it rarely causes me to actually vomit in my non-pregnant state.) I also think that at this point, some of my gagging/nausea is purely psychological - like I realize, hey, I haven't been feeling too bad, and BAM - gagging. Not amusing. Or just being in the bathroom triggers gagging.

Anyway, this pregnancy is definitely seeming more real now that I heard the heartbeat, and I've started telling more people and getting more excited. My poor dh is just stressed out of his mind between work and me not feeling well. I'm coping pretty decently with not feeling well, but it's making him crazy that he can't "fix" this for me, and I think he thinks I'm doing worse than I am sometimes. Oddly (very oddly, I think), DTD is one thing that's sure to give me some temporary relief from nausea, so at least he isn't deprived in that arena.

As far as cravings, I haven't had too many. Did crave Cheetos, so I bought some, but I don't think they sit that well with my stomach. Cheesecake has sounded good for a few days, but I haven't gotten any of that... yet. ;)

And renavoo - I also feel bad talking at too great a length about my pregnancy on IF threads, which is why I thought we should start this thread. Now, we can talk all we want, and people who want to check up on us can, but people who are not up for all the pregnancy talk don't have to see it. Especially since we have a ton of new ladies on the IF ONE thread who haven't been with us on our journey, so may not really feel a lot of interest/attachment toward our pregnancies. (Or maybe they do, I don't know! But I don't want to be in-your-face about it!)

So that's where I'm at in a nutshell. 9 weeks today, about 3.5 weeks till my next mw appointment.

Monkey- Can you correct my screenname: it's deborahbgkelly. We are missing a b. Another thread has me missing the g. I need to get on that. I'm sorry you are still feeling so sick. My poor DH hasn't gotten much loving b/c last time we DTD I ended up spotting and bleeding off and on for two weeks. Too stressful for me during first tri, but will try again in a couple of weeks I think. I have my appointment with my OB on Monday.

deborah - Sorry! This is why I should copy/paste screen names instead of retyping them! I think it's fixed now, let me know if it's not. I think I had a little bit of spotting due to DTD, and we did lay off for a few days, buuuuut... that was as long as it lasted. It definitely worried me, but I was pretty sure it was just my cervix getting irritated. And for some reason, being pregnant has caused me to have way more... vivid... dreams about dh. Which is not a good recipe for abstinence.

Oh, and I went ahead and linked everyone's profile to the roster, to make everyone easier to stalk. Threw up part of my PB sandwich this afternoon, but the burrito I ate seems to be staying down okay.

It's all fixed. Yeah, a vivid dream about DH is why we ended up DTD then (plus it had been a really long time). I think mine turned to red blood because it was exacerbated by Progesterone suppositories. I'm off them now, so will resume normal functions soon. If it had just been spotting, I would have tried again (but right now doctor's orders are to abstain).

Ugh, sorry, Monkey, about the vomiting. I know I'm really lucky because I experienced only nausea but with the extent that other people are experiencing, I almost feel like something is wrong with me! I know that's silly but I feel like almost everyone who has gotten pregnant has had vomiting, if not severe vomiting! I'm glad it seems like it's getting better! My nausea started waning around week 11 and now, at week 15, i get occasional bouts of nausea (especially if I'm anywhere near fried foods) but generally, I'm feeling way better! I'm still crazy exhausted though...mostly at night. In the morning, I'm able to walk more than 3 miles to work and still have energy left over. At night, I have to take the subway home (although i still walk about a mile home because it's easier to walk it than to take my bus home, which often takes even longer than my walking!) However, i know that will change as I get further into my pregnancy.

Seriously, ladies, I'm about to make up cravings. I REALLY want to say that I have a weird craving, like an ice cream and pickle craving or ice cream anchovy (UGH) craving. haha I think that that is a prerogative of pregnant women! ;o) 

Deborah, I know you've been getting your pregnancy bump but how about you, Monkey? Have you started showing? I've started to be more open about telling people at work and I've gotten a lot of "I know". When i ask how the heck they know, they say that i rub my tummy (i usually do it absentmindedly...I don't realize I do it so now i've made a concerted effort NOT to do it!) and also, my breasts are huge. Now, mind you, I know they have grown but people are going around calling it "porn boobs" at this point. haha i don't think they are THAT big! DH seems  to enjoy them a lot. haha. As for DTD, I'm with you all...I get really nervous after it, as does DH (although it doesn't stop us) but I find myself checking for blood for a couple of days after DTD. So far, it's been fine. I'll just continue to watch out!

Thanks, monkey, for adding me. I hope you're feeling better soon. I also had issues with brushing my teeth. I always brush first thing in the morning, but when pregnant I had to eat something first to avoid gagging.

Lyra was born on Monday (the 9th). Sorry if I wrote the wrong date. I'm still a bit loopy.

AFM, yesterday morning was agony, but I decided I was going to go see my SIL, darn it, so I drank a bunch of water trying to make myself throw up... and I didn't. And I decided stomach be darned, I was getting dressed and going over. So I did. And I pretty much felt fine the whole time. So apparently I just need to tell my tummy where to shove it sometimes. Today, I've mostly felt okay so far, but really, really tired, so I've been a bum. Going to have to get over that!
