Did I just ruin my miso soup?

I wanted to cook some cabbage-miso soup and got a little ahead of myself and threw it all in together in my slow cooker. Then I read that miso should be added at the end.

Did I ruin it?  It's slow-cooking now.

Tastes good to me...but it's only been slow cooking on low for a couple of hours.  Is it going to be ruined in the morning?

Honestly it should be fine.  Not all recipes need to be followed.  And if not.  It's a learning experience... right?

I believe if you do not boil it you will not ruin the beneficial properties of miso.

It'll still be edible either way.  It's just a matter of whether you've killed off the bacteria in the miso.

Ehhh, it's ok.  :)  I'll remember to add in the miso at the end next time.
