DD2 has had 2 bumps on the lower eyelid since dec. 23rd. We applied warm compresses as best you can on a 2yo. The smaller bump is almost gone but the 2nd one that started a lot larger is not. And it's huge. For several days I've applied warm compresses to her eye for up to an hour while she sleeps. At first I thought it helped but for the last 2 days it seems to have not changed so we took her to see the doctor. He is referring us to an eye doctor and he thinks it probably need to be taken out because it seems too hard and big to go away by itself. They'll probably want to do general anesthesia and I'm really scared of that. Is there any other alternatives? We are probably going to see the eye doctor this afternoon.
