Changing Charters mid year?

Am I crazy? Simply put the current charter can't get us the materials we NEED since were out of funds. The other charter school we would end up in next year for 6th anyway since the cost for just 3 classes outstrips our funds. Should we jump ship now? It would mean taking on all their classes which is a lot of work but I know whats expected and at this point dd is ready to take on the classes. I think she needs something a lot more challenging then what she's doing. ugh, they also gave dd an ipad2 and dd's heart is going to be broken giving it up and honestly that's whats got me on the fence but I can't allow her to slide and not make progress until Aug. I'm well aware of whats out there but with our needs we both need highly structured materials and responsibility to someone other then mom because its a lot worse to her when its the teacher asking why she didn't finish the assignment then what ever I can do to her. Using online stuff has worked wonderfully for us once we figured out dd's learning style:) I just hate the thought of switching schools but its kinda like, well math program A didn't work for you so try program B! I kinda feel like its the same thing but I hate to feel like I'm switching schools every semester to get what I want yk?

This past year has looked like this:

Grades 1-4 CAVA

4th:1st semester CAVA

Spring: 2 months of semester in public B&M when my frustration hit the roof. (she did worse at the B&M school) Got testing for LD's, got answers and began fixing problems and learned how to teach her while HS'ing under a PSA.

5th grade Fall semester at new charter, doing great!

Spring: No longer challenged and working on grade level after  10 months of remediation. No funds left for new materials. Time to go back to CAVA now that we know how to make it work for us?

I feel like I'm flip flopping but we NEEDED that year off to figure out what was going on and deal with all the issues, we did that and now I feel like its time to jump back in but dd is not going to be happy going back to CAVA since we had so many head banging moments before but I honestly think she's in a place now where she can do it without a problem.

WWYD? (keep in mind this is a lazy child who thinks all she should have to do is time 4 learning, Reading Eggpress and Teaching Textbooks 6 (all this takes less then an hour total) and think's I'm a meanie for requiring ReadingPlus too. She's capable now and its time to hit the books imo.) The things that were barriers before with CAVA are no longer an issue.

Switch back to the school you want .The overall education is far more important than some gadget(Ipad2).

Being a lazy child she would not even get the Ipad2 until I was satisfied with her work. The time for learning would be considered extra not schoolwork.

Hope you find something that works.Maybe another eschool if CAVA isn't good.

The teacher and I hammered it out yesterday and figured out how to get what we needed AND I found out they just changed the rules about a month ago and changed the billing to per semester rather then yearly so next we year can get the LA, Science and History from K12 and still stick with the other stuff thats works and not take on the workload from CAVA so I am a happy camper! dd how ever is about to get very unhappy since rehab is basically over and its time to increase the work load but if she wants play time on the ipad, tv or friends then she's just gonna have to suck it up and get with the program.
