Æbleskiver recipes?

Anybody have a tried and true recipe?  Anybody have a recipe that doesn't involve beating egg whites? 

I got a cast iron Æbleskiver pan for my bday and really want to try it out.

I've been trying different recipes I found on the web but unfortunately I haven't found one that tastes as good as I hoped.  Most turn out like a round version of a pancake, soft and dense.  I'd love to find a decent recipe myself.

I lucked out on my Aebleskiver pan.  I had really wanted one for ages but couldn't justify the $50+ cost for a new one.  I go into Value Village and found an almost brand new non-stick one for $10!
