Wow! Lots of info!

Hi everyone!

Thought I would start here as this site is full of information and I'm not sure where to start with that.

I have a 2 year old son and a 3 month old son.  My 2 year old has been smooth sailing (up until his little brother arrived and now we're seeing the attitude) and my 3 month old is a disaster in himself.  If anyone can give me quick tips for the little munchkin who has some pretty nasty eczema I'll take them!  I've just ordered some hazelwood necklaces for him and hope that can add an extra punch that the creams don't seem to be doing...

I can't wait to start collecting information from here and thank everyone in advance for it!

There is not scientific proof that hazel-wood necklaces heal anything.  Necklace present serious choking hazard for babies.

It would worth explaining possibility that you child has allergy to something you are eating if you are nursing.

Also, switch laundry detergents you are using for the baby's clothes...see if it works. Perhaps baby is bathed to often or need different bathing product.

Thanks for the reply.

I do not plan on putting the necklace around babe's neck but around his ankle in his sleepers.  I know there's been no scientific proof but am able to take a gamble on it as I personally know of half a dozen people who have used hazelwood and noticed a difference.

I've cut out many things from my diet but it's hard to keep track of as I have read dairy stays in your system for up to 6 weeks.  My doctor told me it's genetic and has nothing to do with what I'm eating... who knows?

I already have "special" laundry detergent as my 2 year old had reactions to certain laundry detergents.

If only kids came with a manual :)

up at the top of your screen there is a search bar. Type in eczema and you should get years worth of threads about eczema. hope that helps. welcome to MDC
